Virtual Explorer: a journey to Hook Head, Ireland (hiking, snorkeling, diving). March 2012.
This particular spot at Hook Head is absolutely fantastic for snorkeling and diving but unfortunately the sea was not calm after a very windy week. Later during the summer visibility there will be 20m + and I hope I'll show you what is really there.
The video was recorded in early March 2012. This is a demo of my new product called 'Virtual Explorer'. It's a video version of the product. The main product is supposed to be web-based where every visitor is able to navigate in any direction using arrows, exploring it and to dive-in at some particular spots to explore the place underwater.
Contact me if you would like me to produce a video-based or a web-based 'Virtual Explorer' for you.

Dear Friends, thank you for visiting my channel and for watching this video. All my underwater films and videos were recorded entirely on location in Ireland while free-diving and snorkelling. I'm working entirely alone investing my own money and time which as you can understand limits me very much. Last year I practically had to stop filming and developing my 'Underwater Ireland' project because I had financial difficulties and couldn't afford to spend money or time anymore. To raise some funds for my project development I inserted a PayPal 'Donate' button on my website
--
You do not need to be rich and you do not need to have a PayPal account -- all that you need is a desire to help this very unique project to survive and to develop and you need to have a debit or credit card (all transactions are absolutely secure because they go through PayPal). I appreciate ANY! help and even one euro/dollar/pound/etc. can make a real difference. If you provide your name and postal address to contact [at] underwater-ireland.com after the donation I will be happy to send you a small present (my postcards, my DVD or a large photo-print, size up to 30x40cm depending on the amount of the donation). If you can't donate anything -- you can still help by sharing this information and the link to my video channel
-
and to my website
-
Don't forget to come back later -- I hope I'll find an opportunity to show you even more exciting episodes about the underwater world of Ireland.
Faithfully yours
Victor Kutischev

Top things to do in Northern Ireland - Top Sights along the coastal road
Top things to do in Northern Ireland - Ultimate Guide
In this video we continue to explore the best sights of Northern Ireland and drive up Northern Irelands costal route. We were so lucky with the weather, as you can see by the footage taken and we had another day of pure blue skies.
If you are in Belfast, have transport and are looking for the top things to do then look no further - this video will show you our best sites & attractions along the coastal road that we saw.
As we drove along Northern Irelands costal road - we stopped for lunch at Carnlough Harbour. What a wonderful scenic spot -Chris couldn't resist getting the drone shots of the harbour.
We stopped at White Park Bay and if your looking for an amazing white sand beach - then look no further - the bright blue skies make the footage and views even better.
On the north east corner of Northern Ireland is Torr Head - wow what wonderful views and it was well worth the drive and the short walk to the top of Torr Head.
Then we drove to Ballycastle and stopped for a great icecream and a walk along the seafront.
On our way tothe Giant's Causeway we stopped at Dunseverick castle and we were so pleased we did it was a really nice spot with walks along the cliff and we got some great drone shots.
The we arrived at the famous Giants Causeway. We arrived after the visitor centre was closed and so the admission was free of charge. We arrived at a perfect time and golden hour was upon us - the best time for filming - it was very quiet at this time of night and we had a nice relaxed walk down and again managed to fly the drone . - something that I don't think we would have been able to do during the normal opening hours.
We ended our day at the famous road - The Dark Hedges - which featured on the TV series - The Game of Thrones. I had heard that the road is normally full of photographers and it was hard to get a good shot - we arrived late in the evening and there was only one other couple there so we managed to get some great shots with no one else in the shot !!
We had a fab time and wouldn't hesitate saying that all of these sights are part of the top attractions in Northern Ireland.

Ireland’s Ancient East, See What Awaits You – Unravel Travel TV
Ireland’s Ancient East: For those who love to peel back the layers of time, Ireland's Ancient East is promoted as a wonderful opportunity to experience 5,000 years of European history in a compact area. Visitors can get off the beaten track to see, hear, touch and feel the imprints of the millennia of settlers in this land and discover Stone Age art, monasteries, castles and fortresses.
Ireland’s Ancient East is crafted along four distinct thematic pillars:
Ancient Ireland - There are many treasures in the south and east that are older than the pyramids, set in an ancient green landscape - passage tombs, dolmens and Stone Age observatories that are found throughout Ireland’s Ancient East. Visitors can wonder at the meanings behind the largest concentrations of carved Stone Age artwork and Celtic gold artefacts in Western Europe as well as hear from the locals themselves the stories that infuse this landscape of ancient warriors and Celtic druids. Key attractions: The prehistoric attractions of the Boyne Valley (Newgrange, Knowth, etc.); Brownshill Dolmen, Carlow.
Early Christian Ireland - Visitors to Ireland’s Ancient East will also be encouraged to step into the Golden Age of Saints and Scholars and visit the university and monastery sites where Ireland’s pioneering saints and monks wrote some of the world’s greatest illuminated manuscripts, before spreading their learning and spirituality throughout a Europe locked in the Dark Ages. Visitors can, for example, stand on the Hill of Slane where St Patrick built his bonfire, or travel west from the Boyne valley along the path of the Ancient Dividing Road, the Esker Riada, to find the site of Saint Ciaran's great monastery at Clonmacnoise. Key attractions: Clonmacnoise, Glendalough, Mellifont, Jerpoint Abbey, St.Canice’s Cathedral, Holycross Abbey.
Medieval Ireland - Visitors will also be encouraged to explore the pathways of Medieval Ireland and uncover a rich tapestry of tales from this turbulent time. From the Viking Triangle of Ireland's oldest city, Waterford, lush river valleys lead to the beautifully preserved Medieval City of Kilkenny and beyond. The fortresses and castles built to protect the land and its occupants are evident everywhere in the region. Key attractions: Ireland’s Medieval Mile, Kilkenny; Viking Triangle, Waterford, Hook Head Lighthouse; Trim Castle; Rock of Cashel.
Anglo-Ireland - In Anglo-Ireland visitors can discover the stories of a time of contrasts which shaped the lives of the now settled conquerors of Ireland and those they ruled over. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to experience what life was like in the 18th and 19th centuries. Lavish gardens, opulent houses and market towns are all there for them to explore including the great estates at Powerscourt, Mount Usher, Avondale, Castletown, Emo Court, Altamont and Lismore. The romantic ideals of these times inspired others to failed Rebellions, or to seek better fortune and escape from famine through emigration. At Dunbrody Famine Ship, in Wexford, for example, they can discover what leaving was really like for them. At Vinegar Hill and Wicklow Gaol visitors can see what became of those who stayed and fought for change here. Key attractions: Great Houses & Gardens, Dunbrody Famine Ship, Wicklow Gaol.
