1987 Great Storm damage st Nymans, Handcross
A few days after the Great Storm of 16th October 1987, Roger Ray and son, Laurence, visited Nymans garden in Handcross, Sussex to film the damage to the trees on an early video camera. The VHS tape appears to have degraded in the meantime with green colour bleeding. Thousands of photographs and other archive material of Handcross, Pease Pottage, Warninglid, and Staplefield can be found on slaughamarchives.org where you can leave any comments.
