Wateringen is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Westland, and lies about 5 km southwest of The Hague. Until 2004 it was a separate municipality and covered an area of 8.93 km². The former municipality of Wateringen also included the town Kwintsheul. The village of Wateringen has a population of around 10,860. The statistical area Wateringen, which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 13,880.

According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares .Keukenhof is located in South Holland, south of Haarlem and southwest of Amsterdam. It is accessible by bus from the train stations of Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol. It is located in an area called the Dune and Bulb Region . Keukenhof is open annually from mid-March to mid-May. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April, depending on the weather.

Duinrell is an amusement park situated in Wassenaar, Netherlands. Its main character is Rick the Frog. It also contains a caravan park and a camp-site. Duinrell has been critically acclaimed for its attraction park with swimming pool , which has the longest waterslides in the Netherlands. Plantenmarkt Flower Market on the Amstelveld Amsterdam

New Amsterdam Travel Video- Amsterdammers love flowers and plants. They also love a good street market. So the flower market on the Amstelveld is a great place to go to buy your weekly stems and bouquets. Between March and October it happens every Monday morning on the Amstelveld, which is a well-known square between the Rembrandtplein and the Frederiksplein. It's on the smaller side, but it has a wide assortment of flowers, plants and bulbs. It also has a few stands selling fruits, vegetables, cheeses, honey, chocolate and chicken. It's also near the Utrechtsestraat so you can sit down at a canalside cafe for coffee or lunch. This is a much better alternative to the floating flower market on the Singel in the city center. From Centraal Station take tram 4 and exit out at Prinsengracht.
