It was my birthday and lately I am really interested in doing outdoor activities and realized there are so many things around me that I hadn't seen or experienced before. So this opportunity came and we took it. Very beautiful experience. Riding bikes in the fresh beach breeze while seeing some wildlife.
Whole Enchilada • Moss Landing, CA
It all started back in 1979. Rey Retez and his wife Janice purchased the Moss Landing Inn, which was adjacent to an old gas station in the middle of nowhere. Rey was the only bartender and Janice was a stay-at-home mom. As the Moss Landing Inn business grew, the gas station next door went up for sale. Janice jumped at the opportunity to buy it to create a restaurant. She was influenced by her love of Mexico and Rey agreed. After remodeling, they opened The Whole Enchilada Restaurant in 1981.
It quickly received attention because there was nothing similar to it in the area. Soon it became a travelers destination stop along the famous Pacific Coast Highway 1.

Uh-dude.
Dreaming Sea Otter at Elkhorn Slough
The Elkhorn Slough an hour and a half south of the San Francisco Bay Area is one unique habitat for large number of species. The rule while kayaking is not to disturb wildlife, keep the distance and if they react pull back. Well, until I ran into sea otter tag number 117. This is one dreamy creature which kept returning close to the kayak. None of the other otters in the area displayed this behavior.
From now on 117 will be referred to as: The Dreamer.
Kayak Surfing Monterey
My day off finally synced up with some swell. Music is Fishing The Sky by The Appleseed Cast and I claim no ownership.
