In this episode, we roll out of Orangeland RV Resort in Anaheim, CA, head over to the Pacific Coast Highway and roll up the coast to Santa Barbara.
We did spend a few days in Rincon Parkway RV Park along the coast, but don't record anything because the weather wasn't good and we spent almost the entire time in the RV.
After we head up to Santa Barbara and inland just a little bit, the clouds broke we were greeted with some good old California sunshine!

Paradise By The Sea Beach RV Resort in Oceanside California - Southern California Beach RV Park Recommendation
We stayed at Paradise by the Sea RV Resort and this is a quick overview of our thoughts on the place! Overall we had a great time and would recommend this park to someone looking to stay in the San Diego and Oceanside areas in Southern California.
The park is located just a short paved, level walk to the beach out the back gate of the park. Downtown Oceanside and the pier is just a mile down the way. We had so much fun on the beach. Oceanside was a nice area and the beaches were great! This place really caters to surfers, and warm rinse-off showers are on-site at the campground. They also rent surfboards, bikes, and kayaks if you don't have them yourselves.
This park is a bit more expensive than some surrounding parks but for the proximity to the beach and the amenities we think it is worth it considering any other beach vacation would cost much more.

Vintage Oceanside California
The City of Oceanside has gone through some drastic changes over the past ten years, most of the original shops are now gone. What remains is little, so I plan to film as much as possible before it all goes away. This video is just a small portion, there will be more in the future.
ENCINITAS CA ~ California coastal beach town
I drove along the California coast for a couple days. I saw some interesting towns, state beaches, locals hanging out, tourists enjoying the beaches and sun. I shot some video footage, did some photography work, metal detecting (after hearing of a Spanish ship loaded with treasure from Manila Philippines) shipwrecked long ago in the area). The Fisher Gold Bug 2 did better in the sands that I expected. I was hungry after that, found a burger joint called Angelo's, good cheeseburgers.
Encinitas California seems a bit small, because you can be driving along and suddenly you're not there anymore, off into another coastal town. I'm sure it has more people than my impression.
I thought of this town from George4title talking about it lately. Anyway, it is very beautiful, as is most of the drive up from San Diego toward Los Angeles CA.
Surfing is popular in this coast town, surfing classes, young people practicing on the small waves, lots of surf shops to buy surf boards and all you'd need. Also some how to surf schools, teachers, instruction classes.
One thing that caught me by surprise was the numbers of lonely women, especially at night, they were very much 'looking'.

Waves were 2-3 foot and were glassy in the morning but are a bit bumpy when this video was recorded. This video was recorded at approximately 1pm in the afternoon during a low-tide. The sky was sunny early in the day but then began to build some cloud cover as the day progressed.
There were a lot of kids, coaches, parents, and event organizers on-site for this surfing contest. The groms and high school surf teams take over the beach.
