Mousehole is a village and fishing port in Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is situated about 2.5 miles south of Penzance on the shore of Mount's Bay.The village is in the civil parish of Penzance. An islet called St Clement's Isle lies about 350 metres offshore from the harbour entrance. Mousehole lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty . Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.

It has a population of 3,066, and is the largest settlement in the civil parish of Perranzabuloe. It has an electoral ward in its own name, whose population was 4,270 in the 2011 census.The town's modern name comes from Porth Peran, the Cornish for the cove of Saint Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall. He founded St Piran's Oratory on Penhale Sands near Perranporth in the 7th century. Buried under sand for many centuries, it was unearthed in the 19th century.
