GCHQ Bude, also known as GCHQ Composite Signals Organisation Station Morwenstow, abbreviated to GCHQ CSO Morwenstow, is a UK Government satellite ground station and eavesdropping centre located on the north Cornwall coast at Cleave Camp, between the small villages of Morwenstow and Coombe. It is operated by the British signals intelligence service, officially known as the Government Communications Headquarters, commonly abbreviated GCHQ. It is located on part of the site of the former World War II airfield, RAF Cleave.

Our first visit to St Ives in Cornwall for over 10 years. We stay at the Morwenstow Apartments by Classic Cottages on the hill overlooking St Ives harbour. They were very luxurious with a high standard of fittings and one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed.

We love visiting seaside towns out of season and it was great sitting in the new, stylish apartment with nice and warm underfloor heating looking out of the windows to the beach an waves below.

St Ives, Porthminster beach was under a 10 min walk down the path below the apartments and the town centre and harbour were about a 15 minute walk away.

Sandymouth to Bude - South West Coastal Path Solo Hike

A bit of a different walk today as Trev goes out alone for a hike across the clifftops of Sunny Cornwall - from Sandy Mouth to Bude, taking in some sights at Bude Beach on his way, part of the Southwest Coast Path.

It's a bit of training before they go up Scafell Pike, and also a chance to test out his Viewranger App.
