2. Clifty Falls State ParkMadison Indiana Clifty Falls State Park is an Indiana state park on 1,416 acres in Jefferson County, Indiana in the United States. It is 46 miles northeast of Louisville, Kentucky. On Oct. 27, 1920, citizens of Madison, Indiana gave the land for the park, 570 acres , to the state of Indiana at the suggestion of Richard Lieber. This was after a year's work by the citizens. A system of naturalist programs for Indiana state parks started in 1927, with Clifty Falls being one of the first four with one.The park features Clifty Creek, Little Clifty Creek, and a canyon in which the sun only shines during midday. It has many beautiful nature trails, especially those that go near Clifty Falls. 3. Spring Mill State ParkMitchell Indiana Spring Mill State Park is a 1,358-acre state park in the state of Indiana. The park is located to the south of Bloomington, about 3 miles east of the city of Mitchell on Indiana Highway 60. The park is located on the Mitchell Karst Plain, which allowed the park's caves and sinkholes to form in the limestone. The caves include Bronson Cave, Twin Caves, Shawnee Cave , Hamer Cave, and others. A boat tour of Twin Caves is run by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, which travels about 500 feet into the cave. A portion of the park is virgin timber, protected in the Donaldson Woods Nature Preserve. Super Saturday - Anderson, Indiana
Anderson, Indiana's second Super Saturday commenced at 9 a.m. and continue through 11 p.m.! The day begian with a Farmer's Market from 9-11 a.m. and continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a variety of vendors ranging from artists, rummage sales, flea markets, businesses, and light entertainment onstage. From 5-8 p.m. a Car Show with host DG the DJ. A free concert from 8-11 p.m wraped up Super Saturday with Powerhouse Band. There was plenty of fun, food, children's activities and entertainment in the Anderson Town Center and along Meridian Street throughout the day.
Super Saturdays will continue the first Saturday of each month through October.
