    The Gokak Falls is a waterfall located on the Ghataprabha River in Belagavi district of Karnataka, India. The waterfall is six kilometers away from Gokak town. After a long winding course, the Ghataprabha river takes a leap of 52 metres over the sand-stone cliff amidst a picturesque gorge of the rugged valley, resembling Niagara Falls on a smaller scale. The waterfall is horse shoe shaped at the crest, with a flood breadth of 177 metres . During rainy season, the thick reddish brown water sweeps far over the brink of the cliff with a dull roar that can be heard from some distance. There is a hanging bridge across the river, measuring about 201 metres . Its height above the rock bed is 14 metres .     Vajrapoha Falls , a waterfall in the Belgaum district of Karnataka in India, is situated about in the mountainous forest 8.5 kilometres in south west direction from the village of Jamboti. Between the village of Gavali and Chapoli on an elevated hillock, the Mandovi River that flows to the beautiful Vajrapoha Falls that fall for up to 200 metres and are best seen after the monsoon season . The falls are about 1.5 hours southwest of Belgaum.The Mandovi River is fed by streams near the villages of Gavali, Hemmadaga, Jamboti, Kankumbi, and Talawade villages. Lying in the Western Ghats mountainous area, the region may receive up to 3,800 to 5,700 millimetres of rainfall per year. During the summer months the stream and river water levels can become low.

    Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is located at 15°30′23″N 74°23′30″E in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka state in India. The sanctuary covers an area of 866.41 km2 . Along with neighboring Anshi National Park , the sanctuary was declared part of the Anshi Dandeli Tiger Reserve in 2006.
