Louis-Auguste-Victor, Count de Ghaisnes de Bourmont emigrated from France soon after the outbreak of the French Revolution. A lifelong royalist, he fought with the counter-revolutionary Army of Condé for two years, then joined the insurrection in France from three more years before going into exile. He was arrested after assisting the Georges Cadoudal conspiracy, but escaped to Portugal. In 1807 he took advantage of an amnesty to rejoin the French army and served in several campaigns until 1814. Nigloland was created by two brothers, Patrice and Philippe Gélis. The park opened June 13, 1987. The name Nigloland comes from its mascot, Niglo, meaning hedgehog in Romani.The park is divided into four areas: The canadian village, The rock'n'roll village, The magical village and The swiss village.

3. Abbaye de Fontenay Montbard
The Abbey of Fontenay is a former Cistercian abbey located in the commune of Marmagne, near Montbard, in the département of Côte-d'Or in France. It was founded by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux in 1118, and built in the Romanesque style. It is one of the oldest and most complete Cistercian abbeys in Europe, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Of the original complex comprising church, dormitory, cloister, chapter house, caldarium, refectory, dovecote and forge, all remain intact except the refectory and are well maintained. The Abbey of Fontenay, along with other Cistercian abbeys, forms a connecting link between Romanesque and Gothic architectures.

La rue avait été ouverte en 1830 par MM. Périer frères et Chéronnet sur l'emplacement de l'ancien Hôtel de Noailles sous le nom de rue Louis-Philippe Ier.

Elle fut d'abord appeléer en mémoire de la prise d'Alger par l'armée française, le 5 juillet 1830, commandée par le général de Bourmont. Louis XIV fit bombarder une première fois Alger (El-Djézaпr) en 1682, par l'illustre marin Duquesne (1601-1668).
