The Art HandBunmahon Monuments and memorials to the RMS Titanic victims exist in a number of places around the world associated with Titanic, notably in Belfast, Liverpool and Southampton in the United Kingdom; Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada; and New York City and Washington, D.C. in the United States. The largest single contingent of victims came from Southampton, the home of most of the crew, which consequently has the greatest number of memorials. Titanic was built in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and had a guarantee party of engineers from shipbuilders Harland and Wolff aboard all of whom were lost in the disaster and are commemorated by a prominent memorial in the city. 2. Titanic Experience CobhCobh Titanic: Honor and Glory is a video game, currently under development by Vintage Digital Revival, also known as Four Funnels Entertainment. The game will feature the most accurate digital representation of the RMS Titanic to date, as well as a model of the city of Southampton in 1912. The game is intended not only to be entertaining, but also a historical teaching tool, and a memorial to all those who lost their lives in the disaster. The project was originally funded through crowd funding on such sites as Indiegogo, however, during a podcast on April 10, 2015, director Thomas Lynskey announced that the team would move away from crowd funding in order to focus more on the game's development. Storm Christine on The Copper Coast
Storm Christine was spectacular. Mother nature in all her glory arrived on Waterford's Copper Coast on January 6th 2014. Unpredictable waves and a huge salt laden wind. Keith Fitzgerald and I spent the day recording it. Up and down the coastline from Bunmahon, the locations in this video includes Stage Cove, Bunmahon Head, Tankardstown, Trawnamoe, Bunmahon Beach and Boatstrand Harbour. Footage by Sean Corcoran.
