Châtenay-Malabry is a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 10.8 km from the center of Paris. The French writer Chateaubriand lived in the estate Vallée-aux-Loups at Châtenay-Malabry. The Garden City in the Butte Rouge, the Cité Jardins, is one of the earliest examples of housing at moderated rents . Châtenay is the location of École Centrale Paris, of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Paris-Sud and of French national laboratory of doping detection. The Fondation Claude Monet is a nonprofit organisation that runs and preserves the house and gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny, France. With a total of 530,000 visitors in 2010, it is the second most visited tourist site in Normandy after the Mont Saint-Michel. The House and Garden have been recognised as a Maison des Illustres and Jardin remarquable rewarding their outstanding qualities. The estate was classified as a Monument historique in 1976.

Parc Astérix is a theme amusement park in France, based on the comic book series Asterix . With two million visitors yearly, Parc Asterix is the second theme park near Paris after Disneyland and its 11 million visitors yearly. It is situated approximately 35 km north of Paris, 32 km from Disneyland Paris and 20 km from the historic Château de Chantilly, in the commune of Plailly, in the département of Oise. Opened in 1989, the park is operated by Compagnie des Alpes. It is especially well known in France for its large variety of roller coasters , and has begun incorporating rides and themes from historic cultures such as the Gauls, the Romans, the ancient Greeks and recently the Egyptians, but always in the visual style of the stories.

The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is a baroque French château located in Maincy, near Melun, 55 kilometres southeast of Paris in the Seine-et-Marne département of France. Built between 1658 to 1661 for Nicolas Fouquet, Marquis de Belle Île, Viscount of Melun and Vaux, the superintendent of finances of Louis XIV, the château was an influential work of architecture in mid-17th-century Europe. At Vaux-le-Vicomte, the architect Louis Le Vau, the landscape architect André le Nôtre, and the painter-decorator Charles Le Brun worked together on a large-scale project for the first time. Their collaboration marked the beginning of the Louis XIV style combining architecture, interior design and landscape design. The garden's pronounced visual axis is an example of this style.

The Arboretum de la Vallée-aux-Loups is a notable arboretum located at 102 rue de Chateaubriand, near the Maison de Chateaubriand, in Châtenay-Malabry, Hauts-de-Seine, Île-de-France, France. It is open daily except Monday, but closed in January; an admission fee is charged. The park was created circa 1777 by the Chevalier François-Louis Durant du Bignon. It was confiscated during the French Revolution, changed hands several times, and then acquired in 1804 by Louis Cadet de Gassicourt, pharmacist to Napoleon, who collected and maintained rare plants on the property. The park was sold in 1890 to Louis-Gustave Croux who created today's arboretum. In 1986 it was sold once more to the Conseil Général des Hauts-de-Seine, its current owner. The Abbey of Fontenay is a former Cistercian abbey located in the commune of Marmagne, near Montbard, in the département of Côte-d'Or in France. It was founded by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux in 1118, and built in the Romanesque style. It is one of the oldest and most complete Cistercian abbeys in Europe, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Of the original complex comprising church, dormitory, cloister, chapter house, caldarium, refectory, dovecote and forge, all remain intact except the refectory and are well maintained. The Abbey of Fontenay, along with other Cistercian abbeys, forms a connecting link between Romanesque and Gothic architectures.

Located in the center of Paris, just a 3-minute walk from Cadet Metro Station, ibis Paris Opera La Fayette offers contemporary-style rooms and a 24-hour reception in the South Pigalle district. It is a 10-minute walk from both the Opéra Garnier, Grands Boulevards and the Montmartre district. An LCD TV with satellite channels and air conditioning feature in all of the rooms at ibis Paris Opera La Fayette. All the air-conditioned rooms have access to the WiFi connection and some open onto a patio. Some rooms have a courtyard view. Meeting rooms are also provided. A buffet breakfast composed of sweet and savory dishes such as eggs, fruit salad, yogurts and juices is served every day.
