Many ski centres operate in the Andes during the winter; Las Leñas and San Carlos de Bariloche are particularly well-known.
There are two important nature preserves around Puerto Madryn, Punta Tombo, and Peninsula Valdes where one can see guanacos, rheas, penguins, sea lions, birds, and whales at certain times of the year.
The wine regions of Mendoza and Salta are also very popular tourist destinations, and many tourists are discovering that entering Argentina and using these cities as a base often suits them better than dealing with the bustle of Buenos Aires. Mendoza is a place where many find it is comfortable to learn or brush up on Spanish before touring South America.
The Traslasierra Valley is a natural geographic region of Córdoba, Argentina, located west of the Big Picks or Hills where Mina Clavero is the capital of tourism and is the most important commercial centre together with the city of Villa Dolores. Among this magnificent mountain range of almost 2800m (9200 ft), several charming villages will welcome you with a great variety of lodgings, restaurants, cultural events and outdoor activities for everyone. The sun shines most of the year inviting you to practice eco-tourism and adventure tourism experiencing a direct contact with nature.
Health tourism is also possible in some places in Traslasierra valley, where alternative therapies or anti-stress programs are available in world class Spas.
Cultural heritage has also a main role, with museums, churches and estancias (ranches) of the eighteenth century.

VISIT THE COUNCIL OF GRADO - ASTURIAS (ESPAÑA - SPAIN)
The Council and town of Grado are situated at the centre of Asturias and is well located being just 15 minutes from the city of Oviedo and less than 30 minutes from Asturias airport and also some very fine beaches.
The Council represents the starting point (or finishing point) of the Camino Real de la Mesa (Royal Route of the |Table). This pre-Romanic route was one of the busiest routes between Asturias and the central plateau of Spain and serviced the community up to the 19th century. There are still traces of the Roman roads winding through the hills, meadows and along the River Nalon.
Grado has a commercial tradition from medieval times which still remains to this day. The town hosts the very popular country market on Wednesdays and especially on Sundays when farmers, craftsman and other providers sell their products in the centre of the village in a very nice, colourful and picturesque market experience.
The town of Grado is built around a historic centre with monuments such as the Palace of Miranda Valdecarzana from the 18th century or the Baroque chapel of Los Dolores. Grado also has some very fine houses and palaces designed in “Indiano”or south Americian architecture. There was large scale emigration from Asturias at the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twenty to the Americas, especially Cuba, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and the US. The emigrants brought back a very cosmopolitan and American styled architecture which can be seen throughout the region.
Grado is also a part of the Primitive Route of the Route of Santiago which starts in Oviedo and passes through the town offering a great place for pilgrims to stock up on essentials or take a rest bite from walking A few short kilometres away from Grado are the towns of San Juan de Villapañada and Cabruñana where you will find a Pilgrim hostel which is an ideal location to rest up for the night. As you enter Grado from Oviedo you will find the village of Peñaflor where you can see the Church of San Roman with original Romanic features and the picturesque 12th century bridge crossing the river Nalon.
A Hidden Gem, Iruya, Salta; Argentina
From Humahuaca in Jujuy Province, John and Cara took a bus up into the Andes mountains and down to the beautifully sited village of Iruya. It is one of the isolated villages in Argentina and few tourist ever get there.
Top TV, Movie, Rock n Roll & Society Victorian Houses In San Francisco
One of my all-time favorite things to do is go on open houses and lookey-loo at where rich people live; especially the famous ones. San Francisco has its own version of L.A.’s star tours — but instead of plush Malibu canyon homes, ours are the grand Victorians of the 1800s. And since I feel like doing some house touring today, let’s hit some of the top famous Victorians in San Francisco.

Travel Tips for First Time Travelers with Hey Nadine Video Transcript:
Welcome back to our channel. We have Nadine joining us from the channel Hey Nadine and if you've been watching travel content on YouTube you've probably seen her stuff because she has been making videos for a long time. She is our travel expert today. We've both been traveling for many years and that means we've made several mistakes along the way some of them sillier than others. So today we thought we would share 10 common mistakes that first time travelers make and how you can avoid them.
So first tip before you head out is to contact your bank and let them know your bank and your credit card because it could get blocked otherwise. Another mistake I would say is booking parts of your trip in the wrong order. Packing proper footwear and packing for multiple seasons and seasonally.
I've made this mistake several times & I don't seem to learn. But often times I forget to look up how to get from the airport to my hotel.
Tipping. I another big rookie mistake when I'm in a country and I'm sitting down at a restaurants I didn't look up the tipping etiquette of that country because it varies widely per country.
Another tip for me would be to always grab your hotels business card before you walk out of the door because if you're a little distracted like I am you may start wandering around and not know how to get back.
Unrealistic expectations of your physical fitness.I think another mistake a lot of first time travelers make is underestimating distances between two places.
Small change. Small change especially in like a cash based place is always so important to have on you and the problem is that most ATMs give you the biggest bills.
Okay I think another common mistake is only doing what your guidebook says. Buying souvenirs on day 1 and carrying them around with you.
I think another very common travel mistake is planning an itinerary that is just way too busy.
Laundry. So if you're going for a trip longer than a week chances are you're going to be doing laundry.
And last but not least I feel like we should mention travel insurance because if you can afford to book a trip you can afford travel insurance.
I hope you enjoyed those travel tips for first time travelers so you don't make the same mistakes we made. So thank you Nadine for coming over to our channel and sharing travel advice with us. Go check out her channel. She has some really cool travel videos and lots of very informational travel tips.
