In October 2018 we did a 10-day roadtrip to Italy, with Abruzzo as our main destination. We were totally amazed by the landscapes and variety Abruzzo has to offer (mountains, valleys, beaches, waterfalls...), all in 2-hour driving distance.
On the way we did some quick stops in Verona, San Marino, Florenz, Turin & Corniglia, and explored some lost places as well.

The Pecorino Cheese Maker | The Artisans of Italy with Zak the Baker
Pienza, Italy is an ancient Tuscan town in between wine giants Montalcino and Montepulciano, but what it is known for is its rich and delicious pecorino cheese. Its called Pecorino di Pienza and its made 100% sheep’s milk, hence its name: pecora means sheep in Italian.

CASCATA della Vitella d'oro
La cascata della Vitella d'oro (o anche detta del Vitello d'oro), a Farindola (Pescara), in Abruzzo.
Per la prima volta dopo anni, sono riuscito a vedere la cascata con molta acqua, grazie alle molte piogge ed alla neve che ancora a maggio si trovava a Campo Imperatore.
