Our last day in Amsterdam
This video was taken in Amsterdam, obviously, you can see the trams, hear the people speaking in Dutch, and view the beautiful scenery. This hotel Diann which is situated on Raadhuisstraat were my son and I spent our last night in Amsterdam. On May 5th we woke up to a wonderful breakfast. The breakfast was included in the price and we enjoyed the chocolate spread especially and the all you can drink fresh cappuccino, that was a delightful treat. On the 5th of May we flew back to Canada by K.L.M., home sweet home
My son and I spent our first five days at the Niewue Slotania Hotel which was alright.We bought the I Amsterdam Card which let us visit many museums, art galleries and special historical attractions which we found very interesting. We visited the Vondel Park one day and had lunch at the blue terrace Cafe. On one day we took a bus to Marken and from there a Ferry to Volendam where we had a photo taken with original dutch costumes. From there we walked to Edam by foot a few kilometers and sampled different kinds of cheeses and ordered a new type of Dutch beer which we haven't tasted before. We took many photos and videos and I bought many souvenirs to remind me of the great time that we had. The next day my son left by train to Brussels,Belgium, Italy,Milano, Fiorenze and Florence, France, Niece and I met up with some friends old and new. One in Hilversum, one in Amstelveen, Den Bosch and Zwolle. One day I spend a day at the Albert Kuyp Market and bought some nice clothes. On the 30th of April I celebrated Koningdag with a friend wearing this special Orange hats and sunglasses that we bought and searched in Amstelveen for some treasures amongst all the items that were for sale. One day I travelled with a friend to Alkmaar to see the cheese market but found out with a big disappointment that it was only held once a week on Saturdays, oh, well maybe next time.

S'mores & Skatin' & Sleddin' in West Yellowstone, Montana
Each month the West Yellowstone Chamber hosts free S'mores for locals and winter visitors. On Valentine's Day evening, everyone met at the skating rink. Locals help build a nice sledding hill for anyone that didn't want to skate. WestMart provided free skating rentals for the adventurous. Plenty of volunteers help pass out the fixin's for S'mores & hot chocolate. Last S'mores for the season is March 4th. See you there!
