It is one of the most favourite destination for long weekend because of scenic konkan, virgin beaches, Aare Ware road, Ganapati temple & authentic Malwani cuisine. Not to miss an open air, life size Pracheen Konkan museum which depicts ancient konkan village system. Must try is maharashtrian delicacy like Modak and snacks like thalipith, potato vada, poha, misal pav, cashew nut sabzi. Hotel Shivnandan / Durvankur serves only veg Food & their special veg Thali is really tasty. Here in this hotel you can get Modak anytime, just you have to place order beforehand at least 2/3 hours.

In February 2018, I visited Ganpatipule and other popular places near Ratnagiri. Magical beaches of the west coast of Maharashtra ( Kokan) always entice me, and this year wasn't any different.
From holy grounds of Ganpatipule temple to the Mindblowing peaks of Ratnadurga fort, every minute of this trip was worth capturing.
Hope I am able to transport the beauty of kokan, as experienced, through this Indian travel vlog.

Had an amazing time at this beautiful tourist destination which is actually quite near to Mumbai but owing to bad road conditions, seems quite far. To reach this place one needs to cross multiple ghats or mountain regions of Konkan and drive through forests.
