    Purple Mountain or Zijin Shan is located on the eastern side of Nanjing in Jiangsu province, China. It is 448.2 m high, with the lowest point 30 m . A small mountain with an area about 20 square kilometres , Purple Mountain is a mountain related to many historical events of both ancient and modern China. It was originally known as Bell Mountain and also became known as Mount Jiang after Sun Quan named Jiang Ziwen, an Eastern Han official whose spirit was said to haunt the site, as the mountain's god during the Three Kingdoms era.     Located in southern Xuzhou, Yunlong Mountain, with an elevation of 142 meters, is the second tallest mountain in Xuzhou . Forests on the mountain cover an area of 509,944 square metres . The forest coverage of Yunlong Mountain is 97.9 percent. The dense tree coverage attracts tourists, who enjoy the view of clouds surrounding the peaks all year round. With its nine dragon-like peaks, from southeast to northwest, it is like a giant dragon being overlooked, from which it got its name 'Yunlong'.

    The Grand Buddha is located at the south of the Longshan Mountain, near Mashan, town of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in China and also in the world. The Grand Buddha at Ling Shan is a bronze Amitabha standing Buddha outdoor, weighing over 700 tons. It was completed at the end of 1996. The monument is 88 meters in total height, including 9 m lotus pedestal.In 2008, a Five-signets Palace and a Hindu inspired Brahma Palace were built south-east of the Grand Buddha Statue.
