Joutsa is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 4,519 and covers an area of 1,066.42 square kilometres of which 199.25 km2 is water. The population density is 5.21 inhabitants per square kilometre . Neighbouring municipalities: Hartola, Hirvensalmi, Jyväskylä, Kangasniemi, Luhanka, Pertunmaa and Toivakka. Municipality of Leivonmäki was consolidated with Joutsa on January 1, 2008. The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

Leivonmäki National Park is a national park in Central Finland. It was established in 2003 and covers 29 square kilometres . Typical scenery consists of swamps, shores of a medium-sized lake Rutajärvi and esker forests.

2. Repovesi National Park Kouvola
Repovesi National Park is situated in the municipalities of Kouvola and Mäntyharju, only a few hours north-east of the more populous Helsinki area of southern Finland. Formerly a site for intensive commercial forestry, the Repovesi area successfully transformed into a pristine national park. Pine and birch trees dominate the park. Repovesi abounds with wildlife including bear, deer and various birds. The River Koukunjoki flows through the park. Other streams and lakes are also situated within the parks boundaries. Attractions include the Olhavanvuori hill, popular among climbers, and the Kultareitti water taxi route. We explored these Abandoned farm Buildings, but the cabin was only building that was open. We were leaving the cabin and one of the glasses randomly falls off from the fridge.
