Passau Germany - Our 2018 Walking Tour
Passau Germany is one of those places that doesn't seem to draw American travelers, but should. It's a relatively small town and the confluence of three rivers, the Inn, the Danube, and the Iltz. Don't miss visiting this gem of a town!
Bicycle Trip Summary of Day 38 to 51
Hi! I'm back! Did you miss me? My recent style of traveling unwillingly kept me away from my laptop. Via magic and unknown reasons, I could though finally produce this first trip summary that is part of a trip summary trilogy. Keep on reading for more info about my recent life!
As I'm too lazy forming adjucant sententces, I'm doing a PFAQ (potentially frequently asked questions).
1. Why haven't you uploaded a video for such a long time?
My camera broke in Geneva which almost lead me to quitting the tour. Ultimately I decided though to record with my second camera (Canon S110) and do a summary once I have my camera back. At first it seemed I'll have it back in like 10 days. At the end it took around a month until I could carry it in the palm of my hands.
Another factor which contributed to the long waiting time is my new way of travelling which involves not planning anything ahead. First I arrive in a town, then I have to figure out where to sleep. As I result I often don't have access to the internetz or if so, it is super slow.
2. Where did you get the camera back?
In Bayonne (France)
3. Where did you shoot the introduction to the video?
In Riversedeba (google it) in Spain
4. Are we gonna see some more of the daily videos? You know those that you named Day 31, Day 32... and so on?
Yep, definitely. However the technique how I captured each of them will be slightly changed. I'll write some more specifically about this in the next description.
5. I want to see a clip in its full length and genuine audio! What to do?
Tell me which one you want and I'll upload it to my 2nd channel
6. I have some more questions. Where to ask them?
In the comment section.
7. Why do your answers get increasingly shorter?
Idk
8. Could you tell us more precisely what happened on which date?
12.12.14 The camera brakes in Geneva
17.01.15 I get the camera back (in Bayonne)
04.02.15 I upload this video
09.02.15 Publishing it
EuroVelo 1: Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way
(Contents see below) The EuroVelo 1 runs through the Republic of Ireland for almost a thousand kilometers. The first half of the cycle route leads from Donegal on the wild Atlantic coast to Galway. Nonexistent bike paths, lots of hills and even more rain, these are the small disadvantages. Great landscapes, friendly people and pubs full of music - the benefits prevail clearly.
02:05 Glenveagh National Park
05:00 Glenties
08:28 Slieve League
11:25 Donegal

EUROVELO 13 - Romania to Turkey - Episode 1, Drobeta Turnu, Romania to Pirot, Serbia
THIS EPISODE (We leave the Eurovelo 6 to join EV13!)
We leave Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania, and head over the border to Negotin in Serbia, home to our fave accommodation yet. So good that we stayed for another night and had a recovery/admin day off! From here we cycled to Zajecar via forgotten in time little villages with zero places to eat. Then we tackled the toughest cycling conditions of the entire cycle tour en route to Knjazevac, mostly off road and very hilly. Plus with a slight hangover...
From here it was a beautiful smooth ride mostly downhill to Pirot, our last night in Serbia before Bulgaria.
DETAILS
Drobeta Turnu Severin (Rom) - Hotel Corona €35 bb (treat night!) 8 - excellent but bad breakfast
Negotin (Serbia) - Campsite for Cyclists and Adventurers (we stayed in one of their studio rooms with kitchen) - €16 no bb -10. Simply the best. Hospitality was unreal, great value, free tennis!
Zajecar - Hotel Serbija - €23 bb - 7. Very run down rooms but great restaurant and food although too many smokers at breakfast and dinner.
Knjazevac - Hotel Timock bb - €26 bb - 7. Clean tidy quiet room, bad breakfast. Forgetful, good for a big rest which was needed...!
Pirot- Booking.com apartment with kitchen €20 - 5/10 - only a hob, no other kitchen appliances ie kettle!

Cycling trip from Switzerland to Romania
My 17 Day Cycling trip from Basel to Romania trough Germany, Austria and Slovakia.
Over 1800km and up to 156km per day mostly along the Danube without rain and tailwind.
I decided to not take any cam on the trip beside my Phone which I Filmed and cut this movie.
