In the evening, we will travel to Pigeon Forge, TN to the famous dinner show, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, where we will enjoy some real southern cuisine.

Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway The Tramway takes 120 passengers 2.1 miles up the Great Smoky Mountains. Large windows offer magnificent views of the area. At night, passengers can see the lighted visages of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge as well as the nearby parkway.

Fall is almost here and most predictions are calling for great colors this season! (Tickets: Copperhill Special train rides through the lower Hiwassee River Gorge, over the Hiwassee Loop, and onto the joint cities of Copperhill, TN, and McCaysville, GA. Total 94-mile round trip. Have lunch on your own during the 90-minute layover before returning to Etowah. Departure time is 9:30 a.m. and return is generally around 5:45 p.m. Summerville train rides follow a historic route from Grand Junction Station in Chattanooga to Summerville, Georgia; crossing the state line in Rossville, traveling past Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park and through Chickamauga, Rock Spring, LaFayette, Trion, and into Summerville.
