Beware These Worst Beaches for Shark Attacks!
Shark attacks seem to be on the rise in many parts of the world, therefore, you might want to steer clear of the following known shark-infested waters. Statistically, these are among the most dangerous beaches for deadly shark attacks.
1. Pernambuco, Brazil
The shockingly high attack rate in these waters appears to be due to over-fishing. Without enough food supply, the sharks have begun to sample other forms of fare to satisfy their relentless hunger.
2. Second Beach, South Africa
The beach is popular among shark-seeking tourists and cage divers. Tour operators dump boatloads of bloody chum in the water order to entice the great whites. You definitely don’t want to surf or swim anywhere near these boats and their chum lines.
3. New Smyrna Beach, Florida
More than 238 shark attacks have been documented at Florida’s (surprisingly) popular New Smyrna Beach. In fact, 15% of worldwide shark bites have occurred here. Most of the bites are courtesy of baby bull sharks that favor these waters. To date, none of the recorded attacks here have been fatal.
4. Velzyland Beach, Hawaii
About 41 different shark species that frequent Hawaii’s waters including aggressive specimens like bull sharks and great whites. The last fatal shark attack at this beach occurred in 1994 when a tiger shark attacked a surfer. More recent attacks on surfers have been reported, but none fatal.
5. New South Wales, Australia
This region, which includes famous Bondi Beach, has recorded more than 170 unprovoked shark attacks and more than 50 fatal attacks, and great white shark encounters are more common here than in other parts of the world. Due to the position of the continental shelf, swimmers and surfers are in close proximity of deep waters where these potential predators cruise.
6. Fletcher Cove, California
Fletcher Cove may be picturesque, but it is also the scene of 142 unprovoked shark attacks, including some recent fatalities. Scientists are convinced that the fish-strewn waters in this region are ideal feeding grounds for large predators like the great white.
7. Reunion Island, Indian Ocean
This island has had more than 10 attacks in a recent two-year period, three being fatal. This has prompted island officials to close the beaches to swimmers and surfers. Experts aren’t sure why the sharks are biting people with greater frequency.
8. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Since 2005, there have been more than fifty attacks. In fact, researchers have claimed that South Carolina’s waters are just as dangerous as Florida’s when comparing the swimmer-to-attack ratio. Their waters are attractive to species like tiger sharks and bull sharks.
9. Coffin Bay, Australia
The name says it all. Don’t swim here unless you fancy a meeting with a great white. Recently an abalone diver was attacked and killed by two great white sharks. His body was never recovered.
10. Surf Beach, California
A nineteen-year-old surfer was attacked and killed a few years ago by a great white shark believed to be 18 feet in length. The waters here are home to seals, which attract great whites in large numbers.

Top 10 Most Beautiful Places In The World-The Most Beautiful Places in the World 4K
10 #Most_Beautiful_Places in the World.
(04:50) 1.Blue Ridge Mountains, USA
Located in the eastern United States and part of the massive Appalachians, the Blue Ridge Mountains stretch from their southernmost end in Georgia all the way northward to Pennsylvania. Between the Blue Ridge and the rest of the Appalachians lies the Great Appalachian Valley. When seen from a distance, the Blue Ridge Mountains appear blue – the trees that release a gas called isoprene are responsible for the bluish color and thus the mountains’ name.
(04:20) 2.#Grand_Canyon, USA
The Grand Canyon is a steep, 1-mile-deep, and up to 18-mile-wide gash in the fabric of the world, an immense gorge carved by the Colorado River over the last 5,000 years. Its sheer size is breathtaking and although you can see only a small portion of it even from the best vantage point, its geology and its age fire the imagination.
(03:33) 3.Most beautiful #places on Earth: Plitvice Lakes, Croatia
Located about halfway between the Croatian capital Zagreb and Zadar on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, Plitvice Lakes are a magical world of living, moving water surrounded by ancient forests, 16 lakes linked by waterfalls, bridges natural and man-made, and 300 square kilometers of wild beauty full of bears, wolves, boars, and birds.
(03:03) 4.Famous Places to Visit: Great Barrier Reef, Australia
The only living thing on Earth that can be seen from space, the Great Barrier Reef is immense. Located in northeastern Australia off the coast of Queensland, this 2,300-km-long complex ecosystem comprises more than 3,000 individual reef systems, coral cays, and hundreds of islands, big and small, with sparkling white sandy beaches.
(02:24) 5.Famous Places to Visit: Amalfi Coast, Italy
The Amalfi Coast is an extravagantly beautiful stretch of rugged coast in Campania, Italy, at the edge of the Sorrentine Peninsula. For about 50 kilometers, the coast looks like something a romantic artist might have conjured – sheer cliffs plunging into the azure sea, tiny golden beaches hidden in secluded coves, pastel sun-washed villages hugging the steep slopes of Mount Ravello, and fragrant orange groves competing for attention with ancient vineyards.
(01:47) 6.Most Beautiful Places in the World: Moraine Lake, Canada
Located in the remote Valley of the Ten Peaks in the Canadian Rockies, Moraine Lake is an emerald beauty, a small, cold glacier-fed jewel surrounded by towering mountains, immense waterfalls, and ancient rock piles, so beautiful it takes breath away. As the glaciers melt, the water in the lake rises and changes its color.
(01:13) 7.Awesome Places to Visit: Lake Bled, Slovenia
If you glimpse Lake Bled in Slovenia from one of the distant mountaintops, you will be convinced that you are seeing some magical, lost fantasy world of dragons and knights: A vivid emerald green lake with a tiny island in the middle with a church perched on its cliff and an ancient medieval castle clinging to its slopes, hugged on all sides by enormous mountains, snow-topped and covered with dark, green, ancient forests.
(00:48) 8.Best places to visit in the world: Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls are three massive waterfalls that form the border between Canada and the United States. The falls are located on the Niagara River between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The falls were formed at the end of the last ice age when the water from the Great Lakes broke through the Niagara Escarpment on the way to the Atlantic Ocean.
(00:22) 9.Bora Bora, French Polynesia
Far, far away in the vast South Pacific lies a dreamlike island with a dormant volcano at its heart, covered by thick jungle, surrounded by an emerald necklace of tiny sand-fringed islands that form a turquoise lagoon hiding rich coral reefs and thousands of colorful fish.
(00:00) 10.Best places to visit in the world: Krabi, Thailand
Krabi is a lively resort town on the Andaman coast in southern Thailand. This very old settlement, now overtaken by tourism, has been shaped by limestone karsts jutting out of the dense mangrove forest and surrounded by vast sandy beaches. One of the city’s most popular destinations is Tiger Cave Temple, a Buddhist temple perched on a hilltop that can be reached by climbing a lot of stairs, but the views are worth the effort.
