Metten is a municipality in the district of Deggendorf in Bavaria in Germany. The town grew up around Metten Abbey, founded in 766. Metten is also the birthplace of former Bayern Munich goalkeeper Sepp Maier.

Nieder-Olm, im Herzen von Rheinhessen - Sehenswürdigkeiten

Wir beginnen unseren Rundgang durch Nieder-Olm, einer Stadt im Landkreis Mainz-Bingen (Rheinland-Pfalz) an der Katholische Kirche St. Georg, dem Alten Rathaus und dem Friedensgericht.
Später schauen wir uns das neue Rathaus der Stadt sowie der Verbandsgemeinde Nieder-Olm an. Die evangelische Gustav-Adolf-Kirche mit Brunnen und die Schmiede Wettig sind weitere Anlaufpunkte.
