En este vídeo de la ciudad de Murcia se pueden conocer algunos de sus atractivos turísticos más importantes como son su patrimonio y su gastronomía. Se visitan algunos lugares emblemáticos como la Catedral, el Casino, el Museo Salzillo o la Plaza de las Flores, entre otros. Asimismo se hace un recorrido culinario por algunos restaurantes situados en la ciudad de Murcia y en sus alrededores. Uno de los más destacados es La Cabaña Buenavista, galardonado con dos estrellas Michelin, uno de los establecimientos más innovadores de la región gracias al buen hacer de su chef, Pablo González Conejero. Un restaurante en el que aúna patrimonio y buena cocina es la Hospedería Palacete de la Seda, situado en un antiguo palacete del siglo XVI. Por su parte, La Parranda es un espacio rústico-chic en el que se pueden probar platos de calidad sin olvidar el origen y tradición de la mejor cocina murciana. Por último, en el Rincón Huertano predominan los productos y platos típicos de Murcia y es un espacio muy interesante porque se puede conocer el típico jardín huertano y ver una antigua barraca con los antiguos utensilios de labranza.

Further guests, invited by Daniel Robles for Entierro de La Sardina festival, arrive around the lunchtime. From Spain, the Tourism Manager Tomeu Fiol from Mallorca and the Marketing Manager Rayko Lorenzo Martín from Granada with their families are present. Travel journalist Nani Arenas has traveled from A Coruña. Antonio Postigo Alarcón with his son from make live broadcasts of parades on Facebook.
The longest journey had Liliana Alvarado, the university professor and marketing specialist comes from Peru.
From Belgium comes Mélissa Monaco, the author of the blog Mel Loves Travels in French language.
The Spanish YouTubers Keunam, Hermoti and River Soul complete the group. They are very popular in Spain. During the parades, they were greeted enthusiastically by visitors and asked for a selfie. Immaculada Asensio from Murcia came to support Daniel, because she speaks English well.
The delicious lunch at the Restaurante Cerveceria Ortuño was a good opportunity to get to know each other. For dessert, the wife of Tomeu surprises us with an Ensaimada, a Mallorcan specialty she brought along from Mallorca.
After the meal, we leave the group for a while, because we have an appointment on the Plaza del Cardinal Beluga with Florian Virgili in front of the cathedral. He is the owner of the agency F.V. Productions and arranged the performance of the dance group Tamba Taya from Mula Murcia at the next parade. He wanted to ask the participants of the group if they allow us to film in the cloakroom behind the scenes.
We meet Florian and some participants of Tamba Taya having coffee in front of the cathedral.
If they had not already put up their striking eye makeup, one would think of normal young women. They agree with filming their preparations.
The dance group Tamba Taya originates from Mula near Murcia and exists since 11 years. Their performances are not limited to Spain, such as Murcia, Alicante, and Cuenca. Tamba Taya has also participated in several events in France, like in Cannes and in the Normandy.

Bei den Paraden wurden sie immer wieder begeistert von Besuchern begrüßt und um ein Selfie gebeten. Zur Verstärkung von Daniel ist auch Immaculada Asensio gekommen, da sie gut Englisch spricht.
Das köstliche Mittagessen im Restaurante Cerveceria Ortuño bietet eine erste Gelegenheit zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen. Zum Dessert überrascht uns die Frau von Tomeu mit einer Ensaimada, einer Mallorquinische Spezialität, die sie extra für uns aus Mallorca mitgebracht hat.
Nach dem Essen, verlassen wir die Gruppe für eine Weile, denn wir sind auf der Plaza del Cardinal Beluga vor der Kathedrale mit Florian Virgili verabredet. Er ist Inhaber der Agentur F.V.Productions, die den Auftritt der Tanzgruppe Tamba Taya bei der nächsten Parade vermittelt hat. Er wollte die Teilnehmer der Gruppe, überwiegend junge Frauen, fragen, ob wir in der Garderobe hinter den Kulissen filmen dürfen.
Wir treffen Florian und einige Teilnehmer von Tamba Taya beim Kaffee vor der Kathedrale.
Wären sie nicht schon auffällig um die Augen herum geschminkt, hätte man sie für normale junge Frauen gehalten. Sie sind mit dem Filmen einverstanden.
Die Tanzgruppe Tamba Taya kommt aus Mula bei Murcia und existiert seit 11 Jahren. Ihre Auftritte beschränken sich aber nicht nur auf Spanien, wie die Region Murcia, Alicante und Cuenca. Tamba Taya hatte auch bereits Auftritte in Frankreich, z.B. Cannes und in der Normandie.

This video is a city guide and city tour of Rotterdam. You'll see my top 5 highlights of one of the most modern cities in Europe.
Above all, Rotterdam is a city with vision. It was very nearly completely destroyed during World War II and chose to see the devastating loss as an opportunity to innovate and build anew. The city was a blank slate for architects and artists. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of war, this Dutch city has become a city of the future. Rotterdam is a centre for design, art, architecture, and sustainability. Locals joke that you should take a photo of the skyline today because it won't be the same tomorrow.
The Floating Forest is a great symbol of all that Rotterdam cultivates and inspires. It's an art installation of twenty live trees floating in the harbour. Rotterdam has the largest harbour in Europe and you can't talk about the city without reference to the water. The trees are recycled from the city's 'tree bank.' With all the new construction, trees are sometimes cut down in the march of progress. Now, instead of being chopped, they are moved to a tree bank for further use and enjoyment. The trees float in recycled sea buoys that are filled with fresh water to sustain the trees. The artist, Jorge Bakker, hopes the public art will get people talking about the relationship between the city dweller and nature. In this time of climate change and urbanization, this is relevant not only to Rotterdam but the entire world.
The Erasmus Bridge - Erasmusbrug, in Dutch - is the graceful link between northern and southern Rotterdam. Locals adore this steel-cabled suspension bridge and lovingly refer to it as 'the swan.'
Nearby the bridge, and across from the Fenix Food Factory, is Hotel New York. This is the former head office of the Holland America Line - the first shipping and passenger ship connecting the Netherlands and the United States. It was also the first connection between the two continents.
The newest architectural gem of Rotterdam is the Market Hall (Markthal). It's the first covered market in the Netherlands and is a masterful example of innovative multi-use space. Inside you'll find food vendors, shops, restaurants, parking for 1200 cars and over 200 residential apartments. The exterior is plain grey stone so as to draw attention to the interior which is dominated by the massive painting on the ceiling. Covering 11,000 square metres, it's the largest painting in the world and is known as the Sistine Chapel of Rotterdam.
Just across from the Markthal are the world-famous, iconic cube houses. Conceived and designed in the 1970s to solve the dilemma of housing above a pedestrian bridge, these atypical homes show, again, how Rotterdam answers limitation with innovation. The cube houses are meant to represent an abstract forest and are tilted at an angle that gives excellent views of the surrounding area. Ironically, however, because of the slanted walls and ceilings, only a quarter of the interior space is actually usable.

Lorca Castle (Spanish: Castillo de Lorca) in Lorca, Murcia, Spain, is a fortress of medieval origin constructed between the 9th and 15th centuries. It consists of a series of defensive structures that, during the Middle Ages, made the town and the fortress an impregnable point in the southeast part of the Iberian Peninsula. Lorca Castle was a key strategic point of contention between Christians and Muslims during the Reconquista. It is listed as a Site of Cultural Interest. It is 640 m long and 120 m wide, and one of the largest castles in Spain.
Archaeological excavations have revealed that the site of the castle has been inhabited since Neolithic times. There were archaeological excavations conducted between 1999 and 2011, in conjunction with other excavations conducted in the centre of the town of Lorca. The excavations revealed the existence of an Argaric town that extended from the castle to the actual site of the current town. The excavations revealed funerary sites, homes, and a wall.
It has not been determined exactly when a castle or fortress was first built on the hill. The first written documentation referring to a castle at Lorca is of Muslim origin, which in the 9th century, indicates that the city of Lurqa was an important town in the area ruled by Theudimer (Tudmir), who ruled seven cities in southeastern Spain, mentioned in the Treaty of Orihuela that was preserved by the Andalusian historian Ibn Adarí in the thirteenth century: Orihuela, Valentila (possibly an equivalent for Valencia), Alicante, Mula, Bigastro, Eyya (probably Ojós), and Lorca.
During Muslim rule, Lorca Castle was an impregnable fortress and its interior was divided into two sections by the Espaldón Wall. In the western part, there was an area used to protect livestock and grain in times of danger. The eastern part had a neighbourhood called the barrio de Alcalá.
Lorca was conquered by the Castilian Infante Don Alfonso, the future Alfonso X, in 1244, and the fortress became a key defensive point against the Kingdom of Granada. For 250 years, Lorca Castle was a watchpoint on the border between the Christian kingdom of Murcia and the Muslim state of Granada.
Lorca Taller del Tiempo (“Lorca Time Workshop”) is a company that uses the castle as a theme park for medieval re-enactments and includes a touristic train that travels throughout the city, departing from the Visitor Centre (formerly the Convent of La Merced).

Cieza is a town and municipality in Spain, in the autonomous community of Murcia. It is the capital of the Vega Alta comarca, an old form of provincial subdivision). Its current population is around 40,000. The Segura River passes by the town.
Its economy is based on agriculture, mainly in the cultivation of peaches and olives, but industry is also important, since 4,000 people work in that sector. The public sector, transports and tourism are also very important in the local economy.
Populated since the Paleolithic Age, the area of Cieza is home to archaeological excavations in Almadenes, La Serreta, and Barranco de los Grajos. There are also Iberian remains (found at Bolvax), as well as Roman, Visigothic, and Arabic deposits. The Arabs, who inhabited the area from the eleventh to thirteenth centuries, and who knew the area as Medina Siyâsa, left behind a mountain fortress. At the dig site of Medina Siyâsa, many decorative architectural elements have been found, such as engraved arches and porticos, and polychromed ceramics, glass, metals, etc. All these discoveries are kept in the museum of Siyâsa. The Ermita (hermitage) de la Virgen del Buen Suceso is located in the area known as Collado de la Atalaya. The Plaza de España is located in the heart of the city. The modern market was built in 1929 by Julio Carrilero.
El Paseo (The Walkway) contains pictorial work in glazed tile by José Lucas, who dedicated the different tiles to several men of letters. The main church is the eighteenth-century Basílica de la Asunción. Inside, there are sculptures and retablos by Rafael Ximeno y Planes, Ignacio Pinazo Martínez, José González Moreno, Francisco Romero Zafra, etc.
The Iglesia de San Joaquín, dating from the seventeenth century, used to be a Franciscan monastery in the past. The church-monastery of the Order of Poor Ladies (Clarisas), from the eighteenth century is also an important monument. Other important sites include the main market,which was built in 1929, and El Muro (The Wall), built in the nineteenth century in the place where the medieval wall was located.

Climb to the top to take in the sweeping views of this place that has played center stage in some of America’s greatest stories.

The Roman Theatre is an ancient Roman theatre in Cartagena, Spain. The theatre was built between 5 and 1 BC, as has been proven by the dedication of the edifice to Gaius and Lucius Caesar, grandsons of Augustus, who had designated them as his successors.
In the 3rd century AD a market was built over the theatre, reusing its materials, with a semicircular open space which followed the plan of the orchestra. The market was perhaps abandoned after a fire caused by the Vandals in 425. A market quarter of the Byzantines was established on the site in the 6th century AD.
During the 13th century the Old Cathedral of the city was built over the upper cavea. In 1988 the first remains of the theatre were discovered during the construction of the Centro regional de artesanía. The archaeological excavations and the restorations were completed in 2003. In 2008 a museum, designed by Rafael Moneo, was opened.
The cavea was carved directly on the rocks in its central part, and tops a series of vaulted galleries. It had a capacity of some 6,000 spectators. It was divided horizontally in three parts (ima, media and summa cavea), in turn divided into radial sectors by the staircases (five in the upper part, seven in the medium and upper ones).
The public entered from two side passages (aditus), where the dedications have been found. The orchestra had a semicircular plan and housed three rows of wooden seats for the authorities (proedria). The stage (proscaenium) had a length of 43.60 m. The scaenae frons had three semicircular exedras and decorated by two orders of columns, with bases and capitals in Luni's marble, and shaft in pink travertine of Mula. The stage edifice had a total height of 14.60 m. It have been found three round altars dedicated to the Capituline Triad and to the divinities of Apollo (Graces, Muses and Horae), as well as a statue of Apollo with lyre and one of Rhea Silvia.
