Getting Lost in Padang, Sumatera Barat (Mentawai Vlog Pt.1)
Second trip in 2018! This time: Padang, Sumatra Barat. Its another Cousincation!! Vacation with my cousin to Mentawai. so in this first Vlog we went to Padang from Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. And just before we went in for check in my cousin already lost his phone. He put it in the ATM machine and unfortunately forgot to take it before went out and when we check it back it wasn't there. But the trip must go on tho. Especially after we'd plan this for 6 months ago.
In Padang, we just went to the Air Manis Beach, the famous one but the beach itself was just so so. not really special, then we went a bit hike up the hill Bukit Padang and see the Padang city from the top.
This is the first vlog of my Cousincation Series in Mentawai.

Thank God for manageable weather during this trip - good weather on 12th February until about 4pm when rain came, then get heavier that evening and whole night.
This trip is possible because of email correspondence with Anai Resort's Ms. Herna (email: anairesort_golf@yahoo.com) who considered our requirements and requests for airport transfer (chargeable) & excursion (recommended a suitable adventure travel agency).
This video is just my experience at Anai Resort; I love its nature but there were some inconveniences on 11 - 12 February 2013.
Anyway, I hope & believe Anai Resort will improve after my visit. I think they may have some special arrangement for golf, adventure or bigger groups. Their website is: anairesort-golf.com; Address is: Lembah Anai, Kandang Ampek - Padang Pariaman.
