With the warm pink--orange glow of its façade and elegant Moorish arches, the Gran Hotel Son Net is a fine example of quintessentially Mallorcan architecture and style. From its elevated position on a secluded hilltop set against the Sierra Tramuntana Mountains it overlooks the traditional village of Puigpunyent, one of the few Mallorcan villages that has remained untouched by tourism.
During its refurbishment, great care was taken to preserve the character of the building preserving its natural stone flagged floors and ancient wooden beams. Art lovers will enjoy the owners' private collection of modern paintings that are displayed in the public areas.

Hiking to Mallorcas top Mountain, Puig de l’Ofre Puig. The last meters are kind of hard but all in all the rout is just perfect for everyone.We even did it with a little child. We started at the Embasement de Cuber and walked about 4,5 hours for the whole tour.

Der Puig de l’Ofre ist ein 1093 Meter hoher Berg im Gebirge der Serra de Tramuntana auf der spanischen Baleareninsel Mallorca. Er befindet sich im Gemeindegebiet von Escorca und ist einer der zehn höchsten Berge der Inselgruppe der Balearen. Er bildet den Übergang von der Serra de Son Torrella zur Serra d’Alfàbia.
