House. Built in the early 18th century and formerly the home of painter
J.C Horsley. Horsley commisioned the famous architect Richard Norman
Shaw between 1864 - 1870 to convert and extend this historic attached

architect. Features abound throughout from the gable detailing,
tilehangings, patterned coves interspersed with bottle ends, tall
chimney stacks, oak panelled drawing room, incised ceiling patterns,
inglenook fireplace and a marvelous peacock with eyes and tail feathers
made of green bottle glass bases under the gable end with the
inscription 'except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that
build it', to name but a few. It is believed that Queen Victoria used
to visit Willesley House.

magnificent oak panelled drawing room with original leaded windows and
a substantial inlenook fireplace which overlooks the pretty lawned
garden to the rear.

easily be used as a family room.

To the front of the property is a tarmac parking area with allocated
