Lotus Pond Market - Wholesale Shopping in China
One of the largest wholesale markets in China is located south of Chengdu's North Rail Station. The Lotus Pond Market or He Hua Chi (荷花池市场) seems to go forever. It's alleys, streets, and buildings all packed with shops. Many of the stores around the city get their supply from Lotus Pond Market. If you want to buy in bulk, or you're looking for a decent price, this is the place to shop. Just be sure to barter hard.

What do local Chinese people most enjoy doing on the weekend in China? They absolutely love going to huge luxury mega shopping Chinese malls. Shopping Malls in China are located in most major cities in China. We found an amazing luxury Chinese shopping mall in the heart of downtown Guangzhou, China and the shopping and visual experience was spectacular. One thing to note is the huge crowds of Chinese locals that love to do their shopping there on the weekend, as it makes for quite a visual feast of people watching!
The Chinese shopping mall has truly become the center of local life in China and the destination to spend a night out, entertain friends, buy fancy clothes for that special occasion (Victoria Secret) or just feast on awesome fancy local cuisine or American fast food such as Diary Queen. These gigantic shopping mall complexes are typically at least 6+ floors high with the top levels dedicated to all types of delicious dining options. Some luxury shopping malls in China even feature a fully decked out gourmet supermarket on the lower levels. If you want to grab a great meal or buy that fancy dress you’ve always been wanting, head to the nearest mega mall in China and shop to your heart’s content! In the meantime, please enjoy our video!

• Shopping malls in China feature a huge abundance of familiar Western clothing fashion chains that Chinese shoppers love including Victoria Secret and Zara, and American fast food chains that Chinese locals love eating at such as Starbucks, Dairy Queen, and Godiva chocolates
• Chinese shopping malls usually contain several modern video game arcades featuring familiar arcade style games such as Dance Dance Revolution, Mini Karaoke Sing Along, driving simulators, carnival prize games, as well as super interesting video games such as Deep Sea fishing on an electronic display table (must play!)
