    The Denny Sanford Premier Center is a large, multi-use indoor arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The building is located at 1201 North West Avenue, and is connected to the Sioux Falls Arena and Sioux Falls Convention Center, and is adjacent to Howard Wood Field, and Sioux Falls Stadium. The arena's naming rights partners, and largest sponsors, are Sanford Health, First Premier Bank and Premier Bankcard.Completed in 2014, it has a seating capacity of approximately 12,000 spectators and replaces the DakotaDome and the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center as the largest indoor venue in South Dakota. The Sioux Falls Arena remains and hosts smaller concerts and events, while the Denny Sanford Premier Center hosts large scale concerts and sporting events.

The Canaries are a member of the North Division of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. Since the 1993 season, the Canaries have played their home games at Sioux Falls Stadium, commonly known as The Birdcage. In the 2010, 2011, and 2012 seasons, the team was called the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants.

    The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center is a 250,000-square-foot exhibition center, in Rapid City, South Dakota. It contains two multi-purpose arenas , a Fine Arts Theatre, two large convention/exhibit halls, and numerous other meeting rooms all under one roof. The grand opening event was a concert by Elvis Presley on June 21, 1977. That concert was filmed for a CBS television special that aired in October. The concert was during the singer's final tour before his death on August 16, 1977.
