Sutton Bonington is a village and civil parish lying along the valley of the River Soar in the Borough of Rushcliffe, south west Nottinghamshire, England. The University of Nottingham has a 420 hectares site just to the north of the village: Sutton Bonington Campus. The parish covers some 2,183 acres and includes the hamlet of Zouch. The population is about 1,600,increasing at the 2011 census to 2,202, not including the students at the university campus who bring the total to over 2,200 in term time. Blenheim & Woodstock was a railway station constructed in the neoclassical style which served the town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace in the English county of Oxfordshire. The park holds over 165 species of exotic animals, among other attractions such as a small theme park. The park contains the largest groups of white lions, cheetahs, hippopotami, and meerkats in the UK, as well as the largest lemur walk-through exhibit. They sell delicious baked goods, chocolates and gourmet food. They also sell a variety of holiday and seasonal items. You can eat breakfast or lunch in their country cafe'. They have a large menu with fresh, high quality food.

John O'Gaunt Disused Railway Viaduct, Leicestershire, UK

This is the John O'Gaunt viaduct that was once on the Great Northern and London & North Western joint line in Leicestershire.

The viaduct spans almost 230 yards, with 14 arches rising to a height of around 60 feet.

Once an outstanding structure, it now looks rather sorry for itself when viewed up-close and from underneath. There are a number of patches and many of the arches have stress fractures beneath them, with regular structural surveys now being required.

It’s current condition, and the cost of maintenance, now brings into question the future of this beautiful structure. The question now though is, for how much longer will it remain standing?
