Relaxing in Lapland // Happy 100 years of Independence Finland! The real independence day is tomorrow 6th of December but I decided to release this video a day early. I couldn't be more proud of this country I have the privilege to live in. So beautiful scenery, gorgeous seasons throughout the year and wonderful people everywhere you go. I will continue to show the magic of this country to the world and wish everyone a super fun celebrations!
This Lapland trip was not planned at all and it wasn't even suppose to happen but since northern Lapland was the only place in Finland with good whether and we heard Finnish Lapland had snow.. we decided to leave right away! We had an amazing day filming and relaxing in the Lapland wilderness. Norway wasn't in our plans but we went there as well! Lapland offered super gorgeous landscapes, winter mood and even aurora borealis aka northern lights! Hands down the best day I've had this autumn and a day I will never forget.
Finnish Lapland is very unique and special for me and I hope the beauty shines through this video. Lapland holidays 2017 are coming soon and I'll do my best to get to Lapland a couple of times at least during this Christmas 2017 *fingers crossed*. I would highly urge each and everyone of you to travel to Lapland Finland at least once in your lifetime because it really is that special place. Time from Christmas to spring is particularly great time to visit the Arctic Circle, Santa Claus and Santa village for example (Visit Finland). Things to do in Lapland include Lapland Safaris, ice sculpturing, snowshoeing, skiing, dog sledding, a reindeer safari, sauna and northern light sightings and so much more. Things to do in Lapland list won't end too soon I can guarantee you that, haha. Either way I truly enjoyed making this video and I can't wait to travel again to the magical land that Lapland is. Make sure to subscribe for more guaranteed Lapland adventures! PS. Snowmobiling is a great way to start the day & I would say it's one of the must dos in Lapland for sure!

Rent a cottage in Finland - Viikarinkeidas
Viikarinkeidas is a quality two storey cottage located by Lake Kyyvesi. Lake Kyyvesi is renowned for its abundant fish hauls, teeming with large northern pike and pike perch. The cottage, built in 2005, is located on a slope and its windows and large terrace show a dazzlingly beautiful lake landscape of the open Viikarinlahti bay.
The second floor of Viikarinkeidas has a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a toilet. The kitchen, dining area and living room comprise a single large and open space. The kitchen is equipped with all the standard small kitchen appliances and tableware for 12 persons. The wood heated stove adds an atmosphere of cosiness and ecology.
The second floor also includes a decked outdoor terrace that coils around the sides of the building. The terrace is a nice place to experience nature in any weather.
