Iringa City, Tanzania, 2018
Iringa City is the administrative capital of Iringa region in central Tanzania. According to Tanzania's 2012 census, the city had a population of 151 345 at that time.
The city is located at an amazing site, a plateau that overlooks an incredible valley of a river called Ruaha. Some people have said one can experience unforgettable sun sets and sunrise from the city as the sun descends and ascends from the valley below!
Iringa City dates back to 1890s during the German colonial epoch in the then Tanganyika. As such, it has a wealth of some historic artefacts that include a former German colonial castle alias Boma, cathedral, and World War I & II cemetery among others.

Tanzania - Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti ecosystem is a geographical region located in north-western Tanzania and extends to south-western Kenya between latitudes 1 and 3 S and longitudes 34 and 36 E. It spans some 30,000 km2.
The Serengeti hosts the largest and longest overland migration in the world, a semi-annual occurrence. This migration is one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world.
The region contains several national parks and game reserves. Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language, Maa; specifically, Serengit meaning Endless Plains.
Approximately 70 larger mammal and some 500 avifauna species are found there. This high diversity in terms of species is a function of diverse habitats ranging from riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. Blue Wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region.
Around October, nearly 2 million herbivores travel from the northern hills toward the southern plains, crossing the Mara River, in pursuit of the rains. In April, they then return to the north through the west, once again crossing the Mara River. This phenomenon is sometimes called the Circular Migration. Over 250,000 wildebeest alone will die along the journey from Tanzania to Masai Mara Reserve in upper Kenya, a total of 500 miles. Death is often caused by injury, exhaustion, or predation. The migration is chronicled in the 1994 documentary film, Africa: The Serengeti. ( source Wikipedia )

Northern Tanzania - Kolo Rocks Art Site - Sand & Safari Company [HD]
Northern Tanzania;
With snow capped Kilimanjaro, vast plains of the Serengeti, red cloaked Maasai warriors and wildlife packed Ngorongoro Crater, these iconic attractions have drawn tourists in their hundreds of thousands for decades. But wait there's more! Mt Meru, the Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara and Arusha all add to the diversity of this popular region. The close proximity of all the attractions make for easy tranfers allowing for more time relaxing or on safari.
Kolo Rocks Art Site;
The Kondoa rock art sites are a series of caves carved into the side of a hill looking out over the steppe, approximately nine kilometres east of the main highway from Kondoa to Arusha, about 20 km north of Kondoa, in Tanzania. The caves contain paintings, some of which are believed by the Tanzania Antiquities Department to date back more than 1500 years. The exact number of rock art sites in the Kondoa area is currently uncertain, however estimates are of between 150 and 450 of the decorated rock shelters. The paintings depict elongated people, animals, and hunting scenes. Tourists are asked to report to the Antiquities Department office on the highway at the village of Kolo and ask for the cave paintings guide.
