The pass is located in the Ortler Alps in Italy between Stilfs (Stelvio in Italian) in South Tyrol and Bormio in the province of Sondrio. It is about 75 km (47 mi) from Bolzano and a mere 200 m from the Swiss border. The Umbrail Pass runs northwards from the Stelvio's western ramp, and the Three Languages Peak (Dreisprachenspitze) above the pass is so named because this is where the Italian, German, and Romansh languages meet.

Well finally made it to the last episode of this particular tour which is all about the journey back to the UK.
Riding 56 miles from the camping Zeester site to the Euro tunnel at Calais, showing the procedure you have to do when arriving at the tunnel. Using the self booking in machine, Security (just watch) :-) and how to ride on and position your bike for the crossing.
Then as we hit English soil for the ride up north home we finish with a bit of a montage put together accompanied by a song by Tim McMorris entitled 'This Is My Year' of the whole trip.

Przez przełęcz przebiega wybudowana w latach 1820–1825 droga łącząca miejscowość Stelvio na północnym wschodzie z Bormio na południowym zachodzie.

Na podjazd od strony północnej prowadzi droga o długości 24,3 kilometra przy średnim nachyleniu 7,4 procent, zawierająca 48 ponumerowanych zakrętów. Daje to rzadko spotykane na innych alpejskich drogach przewyższenie trasy wynoszące ponad 1800 metrów. Podjazd od strony południowo-wschodniej liczy 21,5 kilometra przy średnim nachyleniu 7,1 procent (różnica wysokości to 1533 metry).
