What's This Channel About: It started as a travel diary, as a way to share our experiences with our friends and family. A wider audience took an interest in my videos and things just grew from there. I'm trilled at the idea that people on Youtube may get something out of my videos and I love to connect with people who are like minded and enjoy travel as much as we do. Why We Love To Travel: As a young adult I was always too busy working to take vacations. My mindset was fixed on building a successful business and this was always justified by telling myself that I'd travel once I'd made my fortunes. By the time I was 30 years old I'd only been on two overseas vacations and did not think I was missing out. Roll forward to 2015, my good lady finally convinced me to book a stay at an all inclusive resort in Fuerteventura. It was an amazing experience and I was instantly bitten by the travel bug and now want to see loads of different places and travel as much as we can. How frequently Do you Travel : As frequently as possible, currently around seven times per year. We have committments at home meaning we need to fit our travel plans in around everyday life. Why Are We Not On Camera: These videos are about the places, adventures, experiences and destinations. The videos are not about me / us - I'm not a TV presenter and I have absolutely not desire to be in front of the camera. Whilst not adverse to being on camera it's just not what our videos are about at the moment. What's in our kitbag: Canon SX540, Canon SX510, various GoPro cameras including the Hero 3 Hero 4 Black and the Hero 5 Black plus a Nextbase Dashcam and Samsung and Apple cameraphones. Our Favorite Places 2 Go Travel: Canary Islands, especially Lanzarote & Fuerteventura are big favourites with us because of the near year round sun and relaxing vibes. ===================================================== Cameras: GoPro 3, 4 Hero, Canon Powershot SX510 & SX540 Editing: Cyberlink PowerDirector, Windows Movie Maker ===================================================== You must ask for my permission to use content from this channel Travel Safe! Fun address for semester vacation: Temel Reis Village / Malta
Fun address for semester vacation: Temel Reis Village / Malta
I've always wondered, What do you mean by the original name of Popeye 'Popeye'? It means that the word 'Pop-Eye' is a combination of words, an eruption of the eye. It is also one of the things that you can see in the photos of Temel Reis.
Basis is an imaginary hero, the plot is E. Californian Californian in Segar, so it's not really about Malta. But when the main character became a sailor, it was found in Malta as the best place for the film, which Robin Williams starred in 1980. Even after a while, the film platoon began to serve as an amusement park.
This is really ideal for a semester break. It is possible to reach the mosque by bus. Transport in Malta Tallinja Card ... Tallinja Card ... Like our Istanbul Card ... You can also get to the airport, bus stops in the city, buffets or souvenir shops also sell.
Since I was in the city of Sliema, I took the 222 bus to Mellieha, and from there I ran into the bus number 101 to get a nephew. I reserved two hours because the time was limited. But more detailed, those who want to travel slowly, I think they will spend more time. It is not open between 09.00-17.00.
The pastel-colored air of the village conquered the heart from the first step. In the above photo, I stood in front of the ticket office, the entrance tickets are taken from there. The right hand side of the request can freeze up to 2.5 euros. But as soon as you start advising me to keep the right to freeze with the warning that you will start taking pictures immediately.
Entry is 10 Euros during the winter season, 15 in the summer season. You have the right to open a postcard, a small glass punch, a photo and a boat. In the entrance there is a corner where you can see a large part of the village, plenty of photographs.
The village is starting immediately. The base hosts the house before the visitors. I'm dropping in right now to see where the Base Reis lived. Whether it's from the sea or the swaying chair, Popeye's sailing sign
As for the bride of the village ... The most beautiful part of the house Popeye stayed with Olive Oyli, the family of Safinazi of Temel Reis, was the hearted flowered mail boxes.
Despite all of the ease and speed of the digital, I love this letterbox very much as someone who is so upset. I think I need every house to have a pink panjuru.
There is also a restaurant for those who are tired of traveling in the warmer village of Basil Reis. There is also a children's park and pool for youngsters. I said I would go to the sea, but the Anchor Bay where the village was founded is mossy. I also gave up the bad smell coming from the sea during the burning. There is a small platform for swimming but it may not be very healthy, to your knowledge.
Do their houses have their own heroes? Of course, the animators are playing the Basics, both Safinaz and Kabasakal all day long. They even include visitors to their animations and play small parts of the musical together.
I passed by now, but I end up with a final note for those interested: They also organize a wedding in the village. It's both a place to be entertained and a place to get married.

Malta - The Mediterranean's Best-kept Secret
The Islands picturesque beauty, the warm local hospitality and the advantageous geographical position, have attracted various conquerors and pirates to our shores. Situated at the centre of the Mediterranean (93 kilometres south of Sicily and 288 kilometres north of Africa), the history of the Maltese Islands is full of dramatic stories of battles and conquers typical of the noble history of the Basin. Various civilizations and armies, from the hoenicians to the Romans, the Arabs, the Normans, the Knights of the Order of St John, the French and the British have stayed on the Islands, which have been coveted as a stop-over for merchants heading towards the European mainland and also as strategic military base. Now thats a lot of history for an Island of 316 square kilometres a precious gem in the Mediterranean Basin.
It was the Knights of St John (later known as the Knights of Malta) who gifted the Islands with the wealth of Baroque buildings that until this day proudly dot the streets of the picturesque old cities. One of the most outstanding buildings,
which dates back to the beginning of their stay in Malta is Saint Johns Co-
Cathedral, built to honour their patron saint and which houses Caravaggios
chiaroscuro masterpiece, The Beheading of Saint John. Another imposing edifice inherited from the Knights is the Sacra Infermeria - originally the Knights hospital and now known as the Mediterranean Conference Centre, which like other palaces and auberges has been refurbished and fitted with high-tech equipment, transforming it into an elegant conference venue fit for royalty. In fact, it hosted the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 2005, which was attended by Queen Elizabeth II of England, as well as various Prime Ministers and political leaders hailing from around the globe.
MALTA: The Three Villages (3) - BALZAN
THE THREE VILLAGES (3) - BALZAN
The Three Villages in Malta are made up of Lija, Attard and Balzan. This photo-video looks at Balzan's picturesque village, some historical buildings and its quaint narrow streets and alleys.
The Balzan motto is Hortibus undique septa (surrounded by gardens). Balzan is equally renowned for its orchards laden with the fresh scents of citrus fruits.
The earliest records of dwellings in Balzan date back to 1419. Balzan is now the home of 3900 inhabitants.
Balzan became a parish in 1655. The first parish church is still in existence. The present parish church was built in 1688, dedicated to the Annunciation of Our Lady. The titular statue shows Archangel Gabriel announcing to Mary. It was made of wood by Salv Dimech (Is-Sarc) in 1868.
There are two band clubs in Balzan - Mary the Annunciation Philharmonic Society established in 1890 as Circolo LAnnunziata and extended to became a band club in 1994. St. Gabriel Band Club established in 1920
Another prime organization is the Ghaqda Piroteknika 25 ta' Marzu which is responsibled for the beautiful fireworks.
The Youth Center of Balzan are volunteers who are very active in various actitivities including the folkloristic ones. There are also several religious organizations which provide education and assistance to their village people.

Marsaxlokk is a small, traditional fishing village in the South Eastern Region of Malta. It has a harbour, and is a tourist attraction notable for its picturesque views, its fishermen and history. As at March 2014, the village had a population of 3,534. The village is also known for the Marsaxlokk Market, which is mainly a large fish market which takes place along the seafront on Sundays, and a tourist market during all other days of the week. Inhabited and well-known since antiquity, Marsaxlokk was used as a port by Phoenicians, Carthaginians and also has the remains of a Roman-era harbour. Originally a part of the city of Żejtun, the fishing village became a separate parish in the late nineteenth century
