Ziortza-Bolibar is a municipality in the province of Biscay, Basque Country , in the comarca of Lea-Artibai. It has 383 inhabitants according to the 2006 census, and has an area of 18.94 km². The municipality was annexed in 1969 by Markina-Xemein and recovered its independence on January 1, 2005. Records indicate its existence since the 11th century.

  • 1. San Juan de Gaztelugatxe Bermeo
    Gaztelugatxe is an islet on the coast of Biscay belonging to the municipality of Bermeo, Basque Country . It is connected to the mainland by a man-made bridge. On top of the island stands a hermitage , dedicated to John the Baptist, that dates from the 10th century, although discoveries indicate that the date might be the 9th century. With another small neighboring island, Aketx, they form a protected biotope that extends from the town of Bakio until Cape Matxitxako, on the Bay of Biscay.

  • 2. Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabarceno Obregon
    The Natural Park is located in Cabárceno, Pisueña Valley 17 kilometres from Santander, located in a former iron mine in the town of Cabárceno Township Penagos . The park belongs to Cantur, a company whose purpose is the promotion of tourism and which is owned by the Government of Cantabria. Cabárceno Park has two roles: one is the conservation of endangered species and the other is environmental education.
