Eichfeld to Jennersdorf, Austria : Sicily to Ukraine by camper van part 61

I start this part of my journey just outside Eichfeld, a village of just under 900 inhabitants continuing on to Gosdorf, Diepersdorf, Fluttendorf, Weixelbaum and Unterpurkla where I leave the Austrian Bundestrasse 69 to join the B66 heading north. I had been on the B69, also called the Südsteirische Grenz Straße, for some time and appreciated the wonderful views of the Karawanken mountains that it offered.
The B66 is the Gleichenberger Straße. This road is 42.9 km long and runs from Ilz in the Valley of Feistritzwerke to Bad Gleichenberg. In this journey I take only a short part of this journey.
South of Bad Gleichenberg I turn right passing through Bairisch Kölldorf which I note is a very attractive village. From there I pass through Kapfenstein heading north, through Mahrensdorf and Fehring until I join Austrian Bundestrasse 57 towards Jennersdorf on the Gussinger Strasse at the same time as passing over the border between the provinces of Styria and Burgenland.

Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!
Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!
Riegersburg (AUSTRIA)
One of the most beautiful castles in the world is the ideal destination for the whole family.
Riegersburg in Styria (Austria), approximately located 39 km east of Graz and about 7 km northeast of the capital district of Feldbach in the hills of Eastern Styria.

This visit shows a famous Austrian castle called Riegersburg. The Riegersburg is situated in the county of Styria and has roots that go back to the 12 century and eventually even longer.
From the valley station you can take a cable car that takes you directly to the Riegersburg. Going up for a family costs 10 EUR and going down is 5 EUR. We entered the castle as a family and if you pay an extra 2 EUR you can take as many photos as you like.
The museum inside the castle is split up into castle, witches and weapons. Unfortunately everything was written in German and English translation was only available on leaflets. You can get the full information by visiting

What can you do if you are on holidays? Well, if you got a pool then you can have a lot of fun. See how Kaleb and Kayla have fun together with a simple waterproof mattress by climbing up and falling down into the water. I am sure you all remember having done this when you were at the same age. At least I do.

NOTE: Never leave you kids alone in the swimming pool, not even for a minute. No matter how well they can swim and how often they demonstrated it to you. NEVER, EVER leave them unattended!
