I spent a week in Newfoundland. I was originally going to vlog my whole experience, but decided to instead make a video montage of the whole trip.

No matter where you travel in the world it is amazing how great of a feeling it is when you make sure to take videos and photos as a memory with a purpose. This is the first time I went out of my way to take video instead of just photos on a trip and it is definitely a great keep sake to know I have this video to look back at. Anywhere I travel in the future I will definitely be either vlogging or doing another video montage.
If you have never visited Newfoundland it is definitely worth the trip and there is so much to explore and see.

We spend several days enjoying Southern California. We visit Buellton and Solvang, in the Santa Ynez Valley wine region. The we camp oceanfront, at Rincon Parkway, in Ventura County. From there we make a day trip to Santa Barbara, Ventura, Malibu, and Venice Beach.

The West 2019 Part 12: Hollywood and Other Filming Locations in Southern California
We begin the trek back east, stopping by Castaic Lake, near Santa Clarita. We visit the Vasquez Rocks of Hollywood fame, then Hollywood itself, ending the day with a beautiful sunset from the Griffith Observatory.

An Overnight Retreat at Woody Island Resort - #SplitTheRock
I've driven past signs on the TCH for Woody Island Resort for years now, and never thought I'd actually get a chance to visit. We got shuttled away to Woody Island for an overnight retreat, complete with steaming bowls of pea soup and kitchen parties with some mummers.
I had a full day to explore the little island, including its beach and abandoned communities. And then the next morning: a boil-up on the beach at Sound Island. Nothing tastes better than tea boiled over a fire!
