Pennsylvania, a northeastern U.S. state and one of the 13 original colonies, has a diverse terrain, which includes wide stretches of farmland, national forests and mountains. Philadelphia, the Keystone State’s largest city, displays its rich history in Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American freedom.
Pennsylvania is downright beautiful. It is home to some of the country’s richest history, incredible culture and, yes, a picturesque scenery.
The Appalachian Mountains sit here, and the state has more than 120 state parks, with over 100 miles of coastline, and a varied selection of great towns and cities,
each with its own character.
Mountain climbers will love this state, so will surfers, skydivers and skiers even, depending on where you are in the state.
Little wonder the Keystone State is widely considered one of the best states to retire.
The natural allure aside, this is a notion mostly driven by other key factors for anyone interested in the hard data:
economic vibrancy (this is the sixth largest state economy), good health care, school districts that are a cut above the other states, affordability, low rate of homelessness and a high quality of life.
Here then, are the 10 best places to live in Pennsylvania to help inform your decision better.
1. Pittsburgh.
2. Philadelphia.
3. Penn Wynne.
4. State College.
5. Mount Lebanon.
6. Radnor Township.
7. Bethel Park.
8. West Chester.
9. Emmaus.
10. Philadelphia Main Line .

The Best Places to Visit in Alabama
The Best Places to Visit in Alabama
Alabama is a state with many names: Yellowhammer State after the state bird, the Cotton State and the Heart of Dixie. Though Spanish explorers passed through the state in 1540, it was the French who settled the area, founding Mobile in 1702. Because it’s located on the Gulf of Mexico, Alabama is a good place to indulge in water activities. Like most Southern States, Alabama has a rich history and mix of cultural traditions. With such a rich history, the state is truly beautiful with several natural and man-made attractions distributed all over the state. If you are planning to visit the state, visit these top 10 must-see attractions presented in this video.

Ellison's Cave at Pigeon Mountain in Georgia
I hike up to this area on Pigeon Mountain to a large cave system. This It is the 12th deepest cave in the United States and features the deepest, unobstructed underground pitch in the continental US named Fantastic Pit. The cave is over 12 miles long and extends 1063 feet vertically. There are multiple openings along the way and amazing scenery as well. Do not enter these caves without proper equipment and training. Always make sure you are with a group as well, this area is very dangerous and many have perished exploring in these caves. There are warning signs and a sign in log at the trailhead if you do plan on visiting just be very careful and also respectful of the areas. To hike in this area you must obtain a G.O.R.P. pass or Georgia Outdoor Recreational Pass. You can purchase them online or at participating retailers.
Blue Springs State Park in Clio, Alabama
Blue Springs pours 3,600 gallons of water per minute into two pools that remain a constant 68-degrees year round. An important source of water for the Choctawhatchee River, they are the centerpiece of an Alabama state park.
Things To Know Before You Go To Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park Mud-Bogging
Hey you guys! Thank you for joining me on another journey. We are here at Bryce Canyon National Park in Garfield County. This is one of the top Utah vacations to be had. Its magnificent hoodoos are like nothing you've ever seen before. Driving through Bryce Canyon, the spectacular beauty can be taken in at the viewpoints like these: Sunrise, Sunset, Inspiration and Bryce, Paria View, Swamp Canyon, Whiteman Bench, Farview Point, Piracy Point, Agua Canyon, Ponderosa Canyon, Black Birch Canyon. To more fully experience the park though, we hiked down the horse trail near Sunset Point since it was off-season in February. We encountered some patches of snow and ice, so we were very glad to have ice cleats to put on our hiking boots. The attractions of the park were even more amazing down among the limestone sculptures. It was so interesting to have Ranger Emily tell us about the canyon. We ended up finding a dirt road perfect for mud-bogging in our rental car, a Nissan Versa, outside of Bryce. That was a blast! We found affordable lodging in Panguitch for the night. It was so cool to later experience the night sky in Bryce Canyon and test our astronomy knowledge. This park is easily accessible by flying into Las Vegas or Salt Lake City and then renting a car--I suggest a four wheel drive--and driving the few hours there. Here's a travel tip for you: if you come in the winter, you may need snowshoes. These are some of the sights & trails you should check out: Sunrise Point Sunset Point , Navajo Trail, Queen's Garden Trail , Peek-a-Boo Trail, Inspiration Point, Mossy Cave Trail, Fairyland Trail, Tower Bridge and Natural Bridge.
