3. Oise-Aisne American Cemetery and MemorialFere En Tardenois The Oise-Aisne American Cemetery and Memorial is an American military cemetery in northern France. Plots A through D contains the graves of 6,012 American soldiers who died while fighting in this vicinity during World War I, 597 of which were not identified, as well as a monument for 241 Americans who were missing in action during battles in the same area and whose remains were never recovered. Included among the soldiers here who lost their lives is poet Joyce Kilmer. A graveyard for former soldiers that were dishonorably discharged and executed for crimes committed during World War II, referred to as Plot E, is nearby. Chateau de Fere-en-TardenoisFere En Tardenois The Château de Fère-en-Tardenois is a ruined castle in the commune of Fère-en-Tardenois in the Aisne département of France.Construction of the original castle bagan in 1206. Little of that remains today. It had seven towers on an enormous artificial motte whose slopes were covered in slabs of sandstone and served as a model for numerous other castles. The connétable Anne de Montmorency, companion of Francis I, transformed the castle in around 1528. In 1555, he enlarged it with the addition of the famous Renaissance Gallery. These works were carried out by the architect Jean Bullant and, possibly, the sculptor Jean Goujon, which would explain the quality of the sculptures, the stone and the colours.Ownership of the castle is shared by the département and a private company. Le château de Coucy-le-château-Auffrique, un lieu incontournable
Son château se dresse en haut du plateau de Coucy depuis le 13e siècle, une position typique parce que stratégique des châteaux-forts. Défendre, paraître, et demeurer : voilà les trois fonctions du château médiéval. Le château de Coucy a traversé les siècles, il reste quelques traces de sa démesure. Son donjon pourtant existait encore il y a cent ans, c'était la plus grande tour jamais construite dans l'occident médiéval, mais les allemands l'ont faite exploser en 1917 en quittant les lieux à la fin de la première guerre mondiale, au moyen de 28 tonnes d'explosifs. Caroline Calpéna du Centre des monuments nationaux, a pour mission de transmettre la mémoire de ces lieux, au travers d'animations, de visites et d'activités. Elle est notre invitée.

Il y a un an, la France adoptait une loi pour sanctionner les clients de prostitués. Un texte qui divise encore. Selon certaines associations d'aide aux travailleurs du sexe, cette loi a contribué à augmenter l'insécurité et la transmission des infections, en particulier chez ceux dont on parle très peu : les transgenres. Notre reporter Mélina Huet est partie à leur rencontre au bois de Boulogne, dans la banlieue huppée de Paris. Elles racontent la peur, les violences mais aussi l’espoir de se faire entendre.
