Voluntary a National Park in Greece
Hi !!
I am Bony, a 23 years old french girl and I was volunteer in Greece last year. I did an 11 months European Voluntary Service in a little Greek village named Dadia, that is 10 km from the Turkish border. I was working with the NGO WWF (World Wildlife Fund) that monitor birds there (especially vultures), in the Dadia's National Park. My main activities were to stay into the forest during 6 or 12 hours, watching (count, observe behaviors...) birds with binoculars or telescope, or to help workers to do others various tasks.
I arrived there without any knowledges about birds and this year was really interesting for me ! It made me change a lot, in the good way !! Moreover, I learnt so much !! I was integrated into different cultures (Greek and Turkish), I improved my language skills and I met so much great people !!!
About the video, I realized it in Greece, with french friends that came one week to visit me during my service. I made it to present EVS program to Greek students from universities of my Greek area.
I think that, to open our minds to different countries, to travel, to live with customs of other countries, is the best way to live in the real actual world and to evolve !!

Places to see in ( Trento - Italy ) Doss Trento
Places to see in ( Trento - Italy ) Doss Trento
The Doss Trento ( Dòs Trènt in Trentino dialect ) is a small hill that stands on the right bank of the river Adige in the district of Piedicastello of the capital of Trentino. It is a spur that at its highest point reaches 309 m asl , rising more than a hundred meters from the bottom of the valley floor, and is covered by 8 hectares of forest. Together with the Dosso di San Rocco and the Dosso Sant'Agata they form the three teeth of the ancient Roman Tridentum. The Doss Trento was portrayed in 1495 by the painter Albrecht Dürer in watercolor Trintperg .
The original name of Doss Trento is Monte Verruca. This is a name given by the Roman settlers who no doubt remembers the strange shape of the mountain which, if viewed from above, looks like an annoying wart . The Romans gave this name presumably by observing the mountain from the town of Sardagna , from which there is a clear vision of the particular hilly conformation.
From a geological point of view , the Doss Trento is part of a landscape resulting from the modeling of the glacial / postglacial quaternary cycles, with regard to the last and most profound exhaustion effected by the Würmiano glacier in the Valle dell'Adige.
The particular morphology, which makes it a separate relief from Monte Bondone , can be explained by the erosion of the glacial flow and later the river concentrated in a zone of mechanical weakness due to the presence of a fault placed between the Verruca and the eastern slopes of Monte Bondone . This deformation zone also poses some problems with the stability of the western slope of the relief.
The Doss Trento was affected by human presence since prehistoric times . In the North-East side, in a rocky shelter, the skull of an adult man and the bony remains of two Neolithic children were found in 1890. On the Doss Trento are the remains of the perimeter of an early Christian basilica [5] (clear sign of the historical importance of this mountain for the city). It is probable that this church has settled on an ancient Rhaetian castelliere (used, and perhaps modified, probably by the Romans ), from which some derive the name of the underlying district of Piedicastello.
In September 1938 an executive committee was set up for the construction of the so-called alpine acropolis on the Doss Trento (which included several works, only partially realized, including a national historical museum of the Alpini ). To this end, the committee ordered the construction of a new access road to the summit of the hill (then called the Strada degli Alpini ): the design was entrusted to the town hall of Trento, and the execution to a detachment of troops from the then five Alpine divisions, which during the works involved an average of 270 units, exceeding three hundred units in the summer of 1942 .
( Trento - Italy ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting Trento . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Trento - Italy

Whitetip reef shark spotted!! - Diving with Scuba Planet Philippines
The whitetip reef shark (Triaenodon obesus) is a species of requiem shark, in the family Carcharhinidae, and the only member of its genus. A small shark usually not exceeding 1.6 m (5.2 ft) in length, this species is easily recognizable by its slender body and short but broad head, as well as tubular skin flaps beside the nostrils, oval eyes with vertical pupils, and white-tipped dorsal and caudal fins. One of the most common sharks found on Indo-Pacific coral reefs, the whitetip reef shark occurs as far west as South Africa and as far east as Central America. It is typically found on or near the bottom in clear water, at a depth of 8–40 m (26–131 ft).
During the day, whitetip reef sharks spend much of their time resting inside caves. Unlike other requiem sharks, which rely on ram ventilation and must constantly swim to breathe, this shark can pump water over its gills and lie still on the bottom. At night, whitetip reef sharks emerge to hunt bony fishes, crustaceans, and octopus in groups, their elongate bodies allowing them to force their way into crevices and holes to extract hidden prey. Individuals may stay within a particular area of the reef for months to years, time and again returning to the same shelter. This species is viviparous, in which the developing embryos are sustained by a placental connection to their mother. One of the few sharks in which mating has been observed in the wild, receptive female whitetip reef sharks are followed by prospective males, which attempt to grasp her pectoral fin and maneuver the two of them into positions suitable for copulation. Females give birth to one to six pups every other year, after a gestation period of 10–13 months.
Whitetip reef sharks are rarely aggressive towards humans, though they may investigate swimmers closely. However, spear fishers are at risk of being bitten by one attempting to steal their catch. This species is caught for food, though ciguatera poisoning resulting from its consumption has been reported. The IUCN has assessed the whitetip reef shark as Near Threatened, noting its numbers are dwindling due to increasing levels of unregulated fishing activity across its range. The slow reproductive rate and limited habitat preferences of this species renders its populations vulnerable to overfishing.

Scuba Planet Philippines opened in 2013 and is run by Selina & Juan, a Swiss Spanish management. We are located right on Sugar Beach in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.
After many years teaching and guiding all around the world we decided to open our own dive center to offer what divers worldwide are looking for and to provide the service we as divers would also looking for. We are a small dive center and focus more on quality than quantity. Between us we speak English, German, French and Spanish
Good dive sites, short boat trips, other adventurous activities, and better prices.
