Europe 2018: Long Travel to Groznjan
My classmates had a great opportunity to do a one week field school in Groznjan, Croatia so we took it. This course involved learning about the histories of cities and also how we can project the essence of a city through film. We enjoyed the beautiful town of Groznjan because it has so much culture to teach us. To be honest, I have never heard of this place ever in my life but I have to say, everyone should visit this quiet town once in their life because I have totally fallen in love with it.

Motovun, Croatia: Istria's Top Hill Town
More info about travel to Istria: Perched high above vineyards and a truffle-filled forest, Motovun on the Istrian peninsula is the best-known and most-visited hill town in the region. And for good reason: Its Old Town is particularly evocative, with a colorful old church and a rampart walk with spine-tingling vistas of the rugged Istrian interior. As you wander through Motovun you may hear the beautiful a cappella sounds of local klapa music.

Motovun or Montona is a village and municipality in Istria County, Croatia. Motovun is located atop a hill overlooking the Mirna River, with a staircase of 1052 steps leading to the highest point of the city. Attractive place, due to its medieval atmosphere. A panorama that extends over the vineyards and the forest, Motovun belongs to the category of forest parks. The Motovun forest is a habitat for underground fungi called truffles that are extracted using specially trained dogs. In the summer and early autumn they grow black truffles, while the late fall and the winter, develops the most delicious and the most expensive white truffle of Istria.

Musics:
