Kaaresuvanto is a village in Enontekiö municipality, located in Finnish Lapland, the largest and northernmost region in Finland. It is located on the Muonio River, which follows Finland's western border with Sweden. The village of Karesuando is located on the Swedish side of the river. According to Finnish tradition the two are considered parts of the same locality , although officially a national border bisects them. The sides are linked by a road bridge built in 1980.     For the Yemeni city, see Sana'aSaana is a fell in Enontekiö, Finland. Saana's summit lies 1,029 metres above sea level and 556 m above the adjacent Kilpisjärvi lake. Geologically it is part of the Scandinavian Mountains, and is made of the same kinds of schist and gneiss rock. The mountain was historically considered sacred to the Sami people. The peak is a popular destination for hikers and backpackers because of the sweeping views offered at the summit.In December 2017, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Finland, Saana was lit with blue light.     Enontekiö is a municipality in the Finnish part of Lapland with approx. 1,900 inhabitants. It is situated in the outermost northwest of the country and occupies a large and very sparsely populated area of about 8,400 square kilometres between the Swedish and Norwegian border.
