LAKE TEKAPO AND LAKE PUKAKI (NEW ZEALAND ROAD TRIP 2018) /// THESTYLEJUNGLE VLOG #09
Next destination for our New Zealand road trip was Queenstown so we were driving quite a lot this day. Out route included two very famous tourist attractions - Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki. Lake Tekapo is well-known because of its beautiful landscapes and the Church of the Good Shepherd - probably the most photographed place in Mackenzie and in New Zealand in general. Lake Pukaki has wonderful views to Mt. Cook and Southern Alps so it is popular among tourists. It also has very clean water going from the glacier so it is an experience to have a swim in it!
So, this day of driving gave us an opportunity to see two very iconic New Zealand attractions on our way to Queenstown. In next vlog we are going to Milford Sound, don't miss it!

Are you moving to New Zealand ?
New Zealand is one of the world’s best places to live and retire, best place to raise your family. It has a very pleasant climate, great beaches, a wide variety of outdoor activities, cultural attractions, free health care (for the most part), a good educational system, economic freedom, a lack of corruption and attractive, modern cities.
Known for the stunning landscapes featured in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings.
New Zealand is comprised of two big islands called North Island and South Island, plus numerous smaller islands.
It is located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and is very geographically isolated.
Its nearest neighbors are Australia, which is 1242 miles to the northwest, and New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga to the north.
The population of New Zealand is 4,334,000, the majority of whom are of European descent.
The largest minority are the native Maori. There are also a significant number of non-Maori Polynesians and Asians – especially in urban areas.
If you're thinking of moving to New Zealand, you'll need to decide where you're going to live.
Learn more about best places to live in New Zealand here, and decide where in the country you should settle.
Here're the 10 best places to live in New Zealand for 2018.
1. Wellington, the capital of New Zealand.
2. Taranaki.
3. Dunedin.
4. Auckland.
5. Rotorua.
6. Christchurch.
7. Queenstown Lake District.
8. Selwyn.
9. Nelson.
10. Waikato.
If you are moving to live in New Zealand and you’re really not sure where you want to settle, Auckland can be a great place to begin, you can rent accommodation easily within the city and it has fantastic transport links for the rest of the nation.
But be sure to use these transport links, explore the North and South Islands and find the location that best suits you before you buy a home or even commit to living in New Zealand full time.
Whilst the nation is not vast or overpopulated, it does encompass such an impressive array of geographically different regions that it would be a crime not to explore far more of the country than its leading city before you settle on a place in New Zealand to call home.
Thanks for watching this video. I hope it's useful for you.

Top Things to do from QUEENSTOWN if only have 3 DAYS
If you only have 3 days in Queenstown, New Zealand, here are a few of my favourite activities and attractions. It by no means covers everything but if you've got a sense of adventure, this one's for you.

Dunedin Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
The industrious Scots made their mark all over New Zealand, but nowhere is the Caledonian spirit more alive than in Dunedin. Set at the head of the South Island’s Otago Harbour, the city center is shaped by The Octagon.
From here, wander down Stuart Street to New Zealand’s most photographed building, Dunedin Railway Station. Just up the tracks, venture back in time at the Toitū Otago Settlers Museum, while just across town is the Otago Museum.
Retracing centuries of history can be thirsty work, so combine a little learning with leisure, at Speight’s Brewery, which has been serving up the Pride of the South since 1876. Then stretch your legs on St Clair Beach, a popular summertime hangout for generations of Dunedinites.
Rent a car and head into the peninsula’s hills to Larnach Castle. Further up the peninsula is the Ōtākou Marae, the hub of Ngāi Tahu cultural life. The peninsula comes to an end at Taiaroa Head, home to the world’s only mainland albatross breeding colony.
In Dunedin’s North, visit rare Yellow Eyed Penguins at Shag Point. Then just up the road at Hampden, marvel at the mysterious Moeraki Boulders. At the historic port town of Omaru, Victorian warehouses have become places where imaginations run free, earning the town the title of The Steampunk Capital of the World.
If it’s total isolation you’re yearning for, turn southward to the sparsely-populated Catlins Coast, and for even more adventures, head west into the rugged interior of Central Otago.

30 Tips for Backpacking in New Zealand ➜
-- About this video --
Today we are making our way between Wanaka and Queenstown but not without a few pit stops along the way. First, we drive through the Cardrona Valley on the Crown Range and stop off at the Cardrona Bra Fence or “Bradrona”. Then we continue on the scenic journey to Arrowtown.
When we arrive in Arrowtown, we walk around this historic gold mining town with buildings kept to their original designs since the gold rush era. We stop by the Lakes District Museum to have a look at some gold mining relics and art exhibitions before discovering The Remarkables Sweet Shop where you can taste fudge... for free!
With our sweet tooth activated, we get an ice cream from Patagonia Ice Cream then eat it next to the Arrow River where a Lord of the Rings filming location is, as well as people gold panning with gold pans hired in the town.
Then we get on our way to our final destination in Queenstown where we’re going to be spending the next 10 days.
So what do you think of Arrowtown? Would you add Arrowtown to your “must visit” list in New Zealand? LUK in the comments!
