In this episode we wake up in Amberley Beach in Canterbury, New Zealand and collect pine cones for our fire before heading north. I pick up a hitch hiker on the way and then try and find a place to camp in Gore Bay but realise there is no internet connection there. So we find a beautiful riverside campsite instead beside the Waiau River on SH1. Andy sights in his Air Rifle and then goes hunting for some rabbits.

There's never any shortage of things to see and do in Rotorua! In this video we visit the excellent Rotorua Bath House museum, the Zorb and the hot pools at Waikite. In our opinion, these are the best thermal pools in the North Island. There are no crowds, noise or so-called entertainment. It's fresh, clean environment with a fantastic walk to see New Zealand's largest boiling spring.
