Losar de la Vera is a municipality located in the province of Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain. According to the 2009 Extremadura Social-economic Atlas, the municipality has a population of 2988 inhabitants: 1555 men and 1433 women. The size of the municipality is 82 hectares. Losar de la Vera is situated in the center of Spain. It has gardens around the road that represent different animals, Cuartos Roman Bridge and mountains. Most of the population makes its living by agriculture; the most important products are fresh cheese, paprika powder and tobacco.
