New Hampshire is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. New Hampshire is the 5th smallest by area and the 10th least populous of the 50 states. Concord is the state capital, while Manchester is the largest city in the state.
Lake Winnipesaukee is the Jewel of New Hampshire Lakes
Winnipesaukee is 43,000 acres covering the towns of Alton, Gilford, Laconia, Meredith, Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Tuftonboro and Wolfeboro the Oldest Summer Resort in the United States. It is a boaters dream come true. You can go to restaurants and grocery shopping by boat leaving your car in the driveway for the entire visit. Skiing, Golf, Hiking, Attractions are all a short drive from any location on the lake. The grand waterway known as Lake Winnipesaukee unites a variety of charming towns along its shores:
Alton Bay was established 275 years ago, and this is truly God’s country… If you like water and nature – make sure you visit and stay awhile. You can board the MS Mount Washington and tour the towns and islands around the lake or boat to your favorite restaurants around the lake.
Gunstock Resort is minutes to the lake with skiing and a relatively new summer draw for Gunstock Mountain is the spectacular and thrilling zip lining. Be careful, this might become your new favorite thing.
Weirs Beach hosts a long, ambling boardwalk and great family attractions like bumper cars, penny arcades and go karts. But water is the big lure here, so there’s no shortage of boat rentals, scenic cruises, beach activities and the Weirs is home to Laconia’s Motorcycle Week activities.
Famous for its yearly arts and craft festival plus in water boat shows, Meredith is nestled amid thick forests and three major bodies of water. If you love beauty and nature, this town is truly a hidden treasure with plenty of shopping and restaurants to explore.
The Rockwellian charm of Wolfeboro has made it a favorite vacation spot of international dignitaries for decades. The romantic atmosphere is rich in colonial history and architecture, preserved in unique destinations like Wolfe’s Tavern, established in 1812, where you can taste over a hundred types of beer. But keep exploring – many surprises and stories await along Wolfeboro’s sublime waterfront.
But that’s true of all the towns along Lake Winnipesaukee. So load up your car – or boat - and get ready for an adventure. Call us and we can help you make NH your home.

Londonderry is a town in western Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The town is bordered on the north by the city of Manchester and on the east by the town of Derry. The population was 24,129 at the 2010 census. Londonderry is known for its apple orchards and is home to the headquarters of Stonyfield Farm and partial home to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
The more densely settled portion of town, where 11,037 people resided at the 2010 census, is defined as the Londonderry census-designated place (CDP) and roughly occupies the eastern and southern parts of town, around New Hampshire Route 102.
The history of the town of Londonderry dates from 1718 when a group of Irish immigrants visited the area then called Nutfield and decided it would be a good site for a community. Four years later, in June 1722, the Nutfield area was incorporated as a township and renamed Londonderry after the city in Ireland.
