From Warsaw to Prague by Train - Poland/Czech Republik 4K Travel Channel
When the last guests in the skyscraper opposite to our apartment leave the party with the rising sun, we pack our suitcases to leave Warsaw again. Of course, there would have been many more sights that would have been worth visiting. Our next destination is Prague in the Czech Republic.
We ordered tickets from Flixbus via the Internet. A map where the central station was marked as a departure station was enclosed in the confirmation e-mail. So we go to the central station which is not far away from our accommodation. There we try to find out where the bus leaves.
Already after a short time, the whole thing develops into an odyssey, as nobody knows where the station is. So one sends us from one end to the next and even another parallel street. Without success! When we reach the departure time, it is clear to us that we now need a plan B. Since we are at the station, it is obvious to ask for a train. There is one that is much more expensive than the bus that we have already paid for. But worse is that we have to wait about 5 hours and will arrive in Prague only after dark. Our mood hits rock bottom!
We spend a part of the waiting time in the shopping center opposite.
While waiting, we have again plenty of time to inspect the Flixbus ticket. There we see that there is an address of the bus stop. It is not really noticeable, and one can easily overlook it. The bus departs from the south side of the station, opposite the tram stop.
It was our mistake but sometimes things go wrong. When we finally sit on the train, we quickly forget the incident.
The train leaves the city area fast and we reach the rural surrounding countryside. Arable land and pastures alternate with forests and bushes. It is a beautiful landscape but very flat, without considerable elevations.
We drive south. Only smaller villages interrupt the landscape from time to time. Some few industrial plants also lie next to the railway line.

Mid Hants Railway (Watercress Line) - 2019 Spring Steam Gala in 4K
With the wind howling, the temperature only just above freezing and bright, low winter sun, this was always going to be a challenging day to shoot a video, then again the opportunity to see two lovely tank engines visiting the Mid Hampshire Railway was too good to miss. In spite of Mother Nature’s best efforts to make life difficult the day turned out well, once a fallen tree had been cleared from the line.
We start out at Ropley locomotive sheds, where we watch the locomotives being prepared, ready to collect their trains. At this early hour there were not many people around, creating a real 1960’s end of steam feel to the scene. The staff and volunteers who had made the early start were busy raising steam and generally polishing the locomotives ready to be presented to an admiring public.
The line was severed for bridge work near Alton, so services were cut back to Medstead and Four Marks, usually a quiet backwater, but on this occasion a hive of activity as locomotives ran round their trains ready for the run back to Ropley and Alresford.
As part of this visit we also take ride on the Ropley miniature railway and watch the Guildford 0 Gauge Group running their excellent recreation of a steam shed towards the end of steam on British Railways. It turned out to be a very good day.
Locomotives present at the event including the two visiting tank engines were:
Great Western Railway (GWR) 57xx Class 0-6-0 Pannier Tank No.5786/L92 in London Transport maroon livery (visiting from the South Devon Railway)
Southern Region (ex 30070) USA Class 0-6-0T No. 300 Frank S Ross in Longmoor Military Railway Lined Blue (visiting from the Kent & East Sussex Railway)
British Rail (BR) Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No.92212 (home fleet)
London Midland & Scottish (LMS) Class 2MT (Mixed Traffic) 2-6-2 Tank Engine No.41312 (home fleet)
British Railways (BR) Standard Class 4MT (Mixed Traffic) 2-6-0 No.76017 (home fleet)
Southern Railway (SR) Schools Class 4-4-0 No.925 ‘Cheltenham’ (home fleet in light steam only)
The railway is a Standard gauge (1,435 mm / 4 ft 8⁄2 in) line that was once part of a cross country route between Winchester and Alton in Southern England. To learn at little more about the line please click on these links -

Australia’s Puffing Billy Railway 2019 – Part 1 – Belgrave to Lakeside
No visit to Melbourne, Australia would be complete without taking a trip through the Dandenong Ranges aboard a beautifully restored railway carriage hauled by a Puffing Billy steam locomotive. The line can be reached by a direct train from Melbourne to Belgrave station, just a short walk from the Puffing Billy station.
Billed as Australia’s premiere tourist railway, the Puffing Billy is a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge heritage railway located in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne. The railway was originally one of five narrow gauge lines opened by Victorian Railways around the beginning of the 20th century.
Most trains start from Belgrave and travel to Lakeside, or the terminus at Gembrook, passing through the Wright State Forest, composed mainly of Tree Ferns, Mountain Grey Gum and other Eucalypt Trees. Please join me for a trip along this unique railway to see for yourself the amazing locomotives, scenery and wildlife.
Filmed - 23rd to 25th Feb 2019

I would like to express my special thanks to Puffin Pete for treating my sister and I to a trip along the line with ample opportunities for photography and a look inside the signal box at Menzies Creek. I would also like to thank Jeff Evans for his hospitality, driving us to a number of locations including Lakeside to photograph and watch trains making their leisurely way between stations.
We also owe the friendly staff and volunteers a massive thank-you for making this a very special visit, with their warm welcome and help in capturing this memorable railway on film.

Today let's watch scenic drive in western Slovakia - and Eastern Czech Republic - middle Europe. It was a drive between Kuty and Hodonin via multiple villages, Holic and Skalica towns. Video was created in 4K UHD resolution using latest Gopro Hero 7 Black and timewarp feature.
Another Scenic Drive I recommend is between Trnava and Nitra Slovakia:
The speed of video / drive was adjusted to make it more interesting so please do not try to drive so quickly (in fact with 5-10x speed up it is even not possible).
