A Tiny Tour of Pugwash Nova Scotia
A casual afternoon ride took me to the scenic village of Pugwash on Nova Scotia's north shore. Clean , slow paced with friendly people it's well worth a visit. The main industry in the community is the salt mine just on the outskirts. It's also the home of Thinkers Lodge which was site of the worlds first conference on nuclear disarmament which was organized by Bertrand Russell and Albert Einstein. Einstein passed away before ever being able to attend.

This is part 1 of our East Coast Canada Trip. We start in Halifax and then drive around to many small towns around Nova Scotia including Springhill, Oxford and Pugwash. We then spend the night in Halifax and the next day hike to Cape Split which overlooks the Bay of Fundy.
We had a bit of rain when we hiked to Cape Split but overall the weather was fantastic and we got to see so much of Nova Scotia.
Stay tuned for Part 2 where we explore more of Nova Scotia and spend Canada Day in Halifax.
