1. Hautes Alpes, France
The paragliding school accepts the beginners and youth. In winter this skiing resort is used for winter fun, but in summer it becomes a paragliders’ haven. Flying in the Alps – the biggest mountain range in Europe – is indeed incredible.
2. Ölüdeniz, Fethiye, Turkey
A beautiful holiday destination in Southern Turkey provides with an unforgettable flight. You can see stunning blue lagoons underneath after taking off from Mount Babadag, which is 2000 m high, or even from higher peaks.
3. Seiser Alm, Dolomites, Italy
The famous skiing site is incredibly suitable for paragliding. From the rocky cliffs paragliders fly over the largest Alpine meadow in Europe! The flight with the pilot takes about 30 minutes – enough to enjoy the flight and admire the views.
4. Dune du Pyla, Gironde, France
One of the most famous paragliding sites in Western Europe. Dune du Pyla due to the weather conditions and wind serves perfectly for paragliders to exercise different techniques and of course admire the wonderful views.
5. Julian Alps, Tolmin and Bohinj Regions, Slovenia
Experienced guides and agencies offers tours in various locations, that are plenty in Slovenia. The whole trips with transport, accommodation and service are available. So it is suited for the real aficionados.
6. Danyang, South Korea
Two and a half hour drive from Seoul and you reach a paraglider’s heaven. The popular tourist town is found in the beautiful natural surroundings. There are two runways for paragliding and hang gliding – Mt. Yangbangsan and Mt. Dusan, from where wonderful sites of the mountains and valleys open.
7. Castelluccio, Umbria, Italy
At 1452 m high, Castelluccio is the highest village in the Apennines. The little village is best known for the colorful valleys, that start blooming in spring and summer. In the town there are also hang gliding and paragliding schools, that offer an unforgettable flight.
8. Queenstown, Otago, New Zealand
A resort town in the South Island attracts tourists all year round. Built around Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is surrounded by the Southern Alps, that make it a wonderful platform to jump off and fly.
9. Wengen, Canton of Bern, Switzerland
The hiking and skiing village is a nice place to visit at any time of the year. Here tourists are provided with various activities, that enable to explore the Jungfrau-Aletsch site protected by UNESCO. Paragliding is one of the favorite ones.
10. Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique
Situated 750 km off the mainland, the remote place is divine. The archipelago is barely touched by civilization. Only white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. Aficionados Jody MacDonald and Gavin McClurg were the paragliding pioneers here.
Travel from Erstfeld to Altdorf in Canton Uri, Switzerland
Come on a journey from Erstfeld to Altdorf, Switzerland. This video was filmed on 31 March 2019, while traveling through Canton Uri. You will see the River Reuss throughout the video as well as beautiful views of the Swiss Alps. Passing through these towns is a famous Highway (Autobahn) from Lucerne to Lugano built in 1980. Besides car travel, there are also plenty of options for hiking and biking trails. This area is especially beautiful because of the old farms that dot the landscape. Their architecture is especially interesting, as it reflects the history and culture of Switzerland. A small cable car (Luftseilbahn), will transport small groups of tourists up to even better views of the alps. Another notable feature of this area is Rega, the Swiss air ambulance, which is located in the northern part of Erstfeld. While this journey is not filled with tourists it is still an attractive place for tourists to visit. Along the journey you will see truck stop Gotthard, part of a trail in the tunnel. This tour ends in Railway Station Altdorf. The center of Altdorf is only about 1 km from the railway station, but after a long day of touring, taking the train makes sense for many ambitious visitors.

ส่วนใครที่เน้นเที่ยวเฉพาะสวิตเซอร์แลนด์อย่างเดียว ไม่ไปประเทศอื่นเลย Swiss Travel Pass อาจจะเป็นทางเลือกหนึ่ง (ใช้คำว่าอาจจะ เพราะมันอาจจะไม่จำเป็นต้องซื้อก็ได้)
SWISS TRAVEL PASS
Swiss Travel Pass คือ ตั๋วเดินทางท่องเที่ยวทั่วประเทศสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ ใช้ขึ้น free ทั้ง train bus ferry และ special train เช่น Glacier Express , Bernina Express เป็นต้น
- ใช้เป็นส่วนลดสูงสุด 50% ค่าเข้า attraction ต่างๆทั่วประเทศ รวมทั้ง กระเช้า และ รถไฟขึ้นเขา
- ใช้กับ Metro / Tram / BUS ภายในเมืองต่างๆได้
- มีแบบ Consecutive (ใช้ต่อเนื่องทุกวัน) และ FLEXI (ใช้วันไหนก็ได้ใน 1 เดือน)
- เด็กอายุ 0-5 ปี เดินทาง free ไม่มีเงื่อนไข
- เด็กอายุ 6-16 ปี เดินทาง free แต่ต้องขอลงทะเบียน รับแบบ Family Pass ก่อน (ต้องแสดงเอกสารของทางการ ที่รับการการเป็นผู้ปกครองด้วย)
- รถไฟบางขบวนต้องเสียค่าจองที่นั่ง (มักเป็นพวก special train)
- แบบ Consecutive (เดินทางต่อเนื่อง) มีแบบ 3 วัน 4 วัน 8 วัน หรือ 15 วัน
- แบบ FLEXI (เดินทางไม่ต่อเนื่อง) มีแบบ 3 วัน 4 วัน 8 วัน หรือ 15 วัน ราคาแพงกว่า

- รถไฟเกือบทุกเส้นทางในประเทศ (ยกเว้นบางเส้นทาง) ส่วนใหญ่ไม่ต้องจองที่นั่ง

- Glacier Express : Zermatt to St. Moritz (มีค่าจองที่นั่ง)
- Bernina Express : Chur to Tirano (มีค่าจองที่นั่ง)
