Lower Valais hides this small town. Surrounded by numerous vineyards and orchards, this beautiful place exudes Mediterranean flair and offers various gastronomic wonders. It is no surprise that Liszt, Goethe, Stendhal and Rousseau enjoyed their time on the streets of Martigny.
Two thousand years ago Celtic tribes left their traces here, then came the Romans and Napoleon's troops. Roman thermal baths, a magnificent amphitheater, temples and living quarters are still standing proudly in Martigny today.

Onto our new Swiss gem discovery tour - we take you to the German speaking part of the country where we visit the lovely city of Lucerne.
Lucerne lies in the heart of Switzerland and not only does it make for very enjoyable walks, it also makes a great base for exploring the famous Swiss mountains!
Join us as we go up the steepest train ride in the world to the top of Mt. Pilatus and enjoy the most amazing views! To get back down, we take a enormous gondola and then a small cable car.
Back in Lucerne, we visit the famous wooden bridge and the lion monument.

Sleeping On Hay At A Barn In Switzerland! Schlaf im Stroh
Join us on our trip to the north-eastern part of Switzerland where we visited a cool farm and experienced life through a Swiss farmer’s shoes.
We literally slept on hay and took a wild farmers road to get there, but it was worth it. With cows mooing, beds made of hay, fresh air, beautiful views of the mountains, quiet nights and the sky full of stars, it was a perfect place for relaxation and spending some quality time with family and friends.
