Bisse de Savièse - Vertiginous Hike in Switzerland
High-quality 4K stabilized video. Carved on shear rocky faces, the Bisse of Savièse (water channel) has been restored to walk along on a series of walkways and four long and impressive suspension footbridges above impressive voids.
It is one of the most beautiful hike in the region.

Savièse is a town in the canton of Valais in the Swiss Alps, known for its good wine, fine politicians and among other things this unique and vertiginous hike that goes along an old “Bisse” – a kind of open water channel carved and built along a slope – which in this case was built about 600 years ago.
A very easy and pleasant hike because it’s mostly flat, this path is unforgettable for the very scenic view and panorama and the four impressive suspended bridges.
Enjoy the 4K high-quality wide-angle recording and the extreme smoothness of a 3-axis gimbal.

Walk with us in the Swiss Alps - Beautiful Summer Day Hiking in Switzerland DJI Mavic Air
We often like to find new paths/trails to venture upon. This time around our route took us about 8 hours to complete, climbing nearly 1 kilometre incline, at a distance of approx. 14-15 kms each way. Fantastic (and tough) hike. Not bringing sunscreen with me- and wearing a sleeveless shirt... not very smart on my part.

Note: Some ask me about the MicroSD cards I use (they're a pain sometimes, if you choose the wrong one, from an unreliable brand, etc). There's little worse than spending a day getting once a in a lifetime shots, and coming home only to see issues with the data (corrupt files, card errors, etc). Both cards I use above I stand by: I've not had any issues with either (2 years on the Sony Camera, and 1 year on the Mavic Air

About Us: I'm PJ. My partner, inspiration, trainer, chef, and moral compass, Risa, are what we (reluctantly) refer to as, digital nomads. I say, reluctantly, as I've been living the digital nomad lifestyle for about 15 years now (long before the term was coined, and became the cheesy trend it is today. It seems that everyone these days on vacation with a laptop, a pina colada next to them, Avicii on their headphones, and a dozen memory sticks filled with selfies now considers themselves a (don't forget the hashtag) digital nomad.
I started out at age 19.
I quit my job at the time, to focus on the then still relatively unknown arbitrage business model as applied on eBay. Long story short, I saw an opportunity, invested all I had in it (time + money) and by my early 20s, I no longer had any interest in returning to Canada (where I grew up). I bounced mostly around Asia, for many years (all the usual nomad hotspots: Thailand, Vietnam, S. Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, with a preference for Japan (lived all over Japan, from Tokyo, to the most remote Japanese islands in the Pacific). In late 2013, one of my returns to Tokyo, I met a captivating young woman, Risa, who helped me to re-calibrate my high-flyin', rock-star lifestyle and regain focus. Within a few months of meeting, she elected to quit her job in Tokyo and joined me on this nomadic journey.
This channel, will document our perpetual traveller lifestyle. It's not always easy, it's not always fun. There are highs and lows. Sometimes money is very tight, other times it seems like it's the least of our worries. But when done right, the digital nomad lifestyle is a journey unlike any other.
Over the last few years, we generally stay off the beaten path and instead venture into areas seldom spoken about in digital nomad circles. You won't see us visiting Bali, Saigon, or Bangkok. Been there, got the SIM card, and still feel a bit hungover. As we travel, we focus on personal growth, on disconnecting, unlearning, and thus thriving. We attempt to engage in philanthropy when we can. We respect the cultures kind enough to allow us to visit their land and their homes. Feel free to send us feedback, comments, suggestions.
Thank you for taking an interest in our journey. More videos of exotic places, stories, and people, will be uploaded weekly. As a demonstration of my gratitude to you for taking an interest in us, I will continue improving the quality of the content I create for you on a regular basis.
PJ, and Risa

Geneva Redicovered | How to prepare Swiss Raclette! vlog # 29
On a fine day in Geneva i met up with Raymund who has been living in Switzerland over 40 years now and we went to the city center to rent a bike to ride and see the beautiful sights of the city.
We went to the country side and took a bus with our bike to see the spectacular view of the city and then we rode back down hill by the lake side and took a skippy boat to La Reseve Hotel to chill and have some wine while enjoying the view.
Before night time came we again took the boat back to the city center to experience authentic Swiss cuisine at Auberge de Saviese restaurant and met up with Mister Hernandez who is the brother of the owner of the said restaurant and introduce me to their chef, chef Mathias who was kind enough to show me how Raclette cheese is prepared in their kitchen.
With that Mister Hernandez also was nice enough to be interviewed by me on what their restaurant has to offer and the origins of Fondue and Raclette as we all enjoy now.
Again thank you for the staff of Auberge de Saviese for their hospitality and of course Mister Hernandez and chef Mathias and our friend Raymund for taking time to show me around and appreciate the beauty of Geneva.

One of the most beautiful Hiking tour in Switzerland is the Gastlosen Tour, going around the Gastlosen mountain chain located south of Jaun, in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. The tour follows a variety of tracks and terrain ranging from meadows, forests and higher-altitude ridges and rocky paths.
The highest point called Wolfs ort is the crossing point from the east side of the mountain to the west side. It offers a wonderful panorama of the surrounding mountains, some of them in the far distance already covered by snow.
Located in the vicinity of Jaun, not so far from Gstaad, Saanen, Rougemont or Zweisimmen, this hiking tour is a must-do for its great diversity of terrains, vegetation and sight.
Enjoy the 4K high-quality wide-angle recording and the extreme smoothness of a 3-axis gimbal.
